VNTMs remix is a stomping reimagining of the original, taking subtle percussive elements and marrying them alongside sinister drones and driving sub bass.

While the Berlin-based queen of positivity has garnered the support of the usual techno heavyweights, The Red Queen stands as a definitive statement of her production prowess. A driving low end, lush emotional pads, and some absolutely showstopping moments made this one of the releases we were most excited about but were forced to delay until live shows were possible again as this is most certainly a track that needs to be heard on a proper system to appreciate its visceral power. Straight back in after their almighty remix on Kid Only's Remixes EP we welcome Ian Jay &amp; Matt Williams! It's a pleasure for us to push the lads first EP, and trust us it's a big one! Stamping out 2 original tracks that fuse that light feel good house breakdown with an absolutely booting tech house core. These lads are producers we have labeled 'ones to watch' and it's no real surprise why! We've been sitting on these for some time now and we've brought in some real heavy remixes to top it off!

Apollo 84 is someone we've been following a while now and Konflicted Soul is one of the freshest new artists to hit the scene, really getting his name on lips at the moment. It was a no brainer for us to link up with these guys when they said they were interested in being part of the ever growing Criminal Hype family. These lads give the release that next level for when energies really move up a gear. Heavy, rolling tech vibes that just shake you!

Greco is one of the U.S's best new house producers without a shadow of a doubt! After tearing it up on our sister label Ranura with his 'Hart Plaza' we couldn't wait to work with him again (before his forthcoming EP). He brings a no nonsense bass attack on his re work. Deep, moving raw bass that drops in after a real quirky teasing build! Prefect peak time stuff!

Fresh talent from The Netherlands is making their debut on Chief Recordings. The Utrecht based duo House Soldiers teamed up with Noah Petersen for a wicked EP. Their collaboration resulted in three cool original tracks. On the flipside we have a heavy remix by Lee Jeffrey.
The first track is called “It’s Yours”, a solid tech house tune with a sweet groove. The track is completed with classic synth stabs and vocal shots.
Chief invited the UK based producer Lee Jeffrey to remix the track “It’s Yours”, and he delivered an heavy sub-based groovy version.
Third track on the list is called “Delusive”. This track has an addictive synth melody, a stomping groove and some powerful vocal effects. Final track on the EP is called “The Record” which has a funky bassline and a wicked rhythm section.

To celebrate hitting their 20th release, Cleric’s imprint pulls together 23 talents for an essential various artist compilation including tracks from the likes of Rebekah, Cleric, Stef Mendesidis, Remco Beekwilder & Stranger, Endlec, Kwartz, Setaoc Mass, Roman Poncet, Slam and many more.

Clergy has become synonymous with a balance of atmospheric and hard hitting brand of techno ever since 2014. The boss's own music has been key to that, with carefully curated releases from guests such as Dax J, Kwartz, Reflec and Cleric himself. Helping to make the label an underground favourite. ‘Clergy Visions 01’ sees Cleric invite an array on techno heavyweights to contribute to this compilation that’s mixed by the label boss himself.
Things open up with the bleak ambience and fizzing electric cables of Jokasti & Nek's 'Grained' then Sept's 'Artifical' lays down a tunnelling techno groove that immediately locks you in. The mysterious alias, Reizemann heads off to a cosmic realm with its deep space pads slowly building the momentum throughout the drums. The energy levels then stay high throughout tracks from Roman Poncet, Kwartz and Setaoc Mass, then leading onto the groove of Stef Mendesidis.
Testament to Cleric's skills as a DJ and sequencer is the fact this journey is constantly evolving while remaining coherent. A mid- section featuring the likes of Endlec, Sleeparchive and EAS keeps you on your toes with perfectly stripped back but hard dynamic drum programming and intense melody work. Remco Beekwilder & Stranger bring a more hard hitting and industrial style before Slam calm the fires once more allowing you to sink into a smooth, elongated roller. It's left to the dystopian darkness of Rebekah and atmospheric techno brilliance of Lerias to close out this most adventurous mix in real style.

@umek's label 1605 (@sixteenofive) is back with its new instalment of the mixed artist series Desiderati 4.4, this time featuring music from Space 92, Loco & Jam, Mha Iri, and a collaboration of Teenage Mutants with Soolver.

Loco & Jam are an Irish duo famed for their many tracks and remixes on influential labels ranging from Drumcode and Octopus to Relief. Their track “The Awakening” has building tension, moody atmosphere and dystopian textures that combine to create an immersive dance floor experience.
