Scuba’s entry in the revered fabric mix series features four debut-making artists, three of whom - Isaac Reuben, Glaskin, Blursome - feature on the present sampler 12” alongside the already-emerging talent of Tallmen785.

Together they cover a rich gamut of style. Tallmen’s gear-shifting opener - a charge of the techno brigade replete with live drum fills - leads into Blursome’s compact, broken, nocturnal outcry. Isaac Reuben then messes with structure and genre, bringing deep house tropes into a lofi, rough and raw world before Glaskin blow the
door wide open right at the very end to reveal their cavernous, ultra deep field.

You’ll be hearing a lot from all of them on Hotflush in the coming months, so for now
let the music break the ice.

The legendary duo The Filterheadz from Belgium debut on Mavic Music with two powerhouse tracks extensively road tested and guaranteed for the dance floor. 

The lead track "Infinite" starts with a powerful rolling baseline, kick and sneaky distorted stabs and a timeless vocal before breaking down into a sensuous pad that sits underneath hoover'esqe like leads, screaming rides and effects that carry the music to the finish line. "Locomotive" on the flip side starts off with drips of acid and stabs creating maximum intensity from the first few bars. The track infectiously weaves in and out between masterfully tuned effects and complex percussive grooves resulting in any acid lovers dream track

We Are The Brave boss Alan Fitzpatrick joins Rekids with ‘Step Away’, a euphorically chargedtechno release featuring two remixes from Planetary Assault Systems.

Having performed across the world at the likes of Watergate, fabric, Shelter and DC-10, renowned UKartist Alan Fitzpatrick has continued to bring driving techno to the forefront of electronic music culture since the early 2000s. With a ream of releases on Figure, Unknown To The Unknown, Drumcode, Hotflush and many more, he now launches into 2020 with his debut on Radio Slave’s revered imprint.

Fitzpatrick’s signature, thundering techno cut ‘Step Away’ opens with spacey toms, industrial kicks, delayed claps, pulsing bass and atmospherically sustained keys.

The hailed Mote-Evolver boss and esteemed remixer Luke Slater serves up two propulsive edits under his Planetary Assault Systems alias with the first remix being otherworldly with reverbed stabs, subtle arpeggiated synths, minimalistic drums whilst the second remix goes into overdrive with analogue beat programming, computerised melodies and a harrowing sub-frequency rhythm.
