Ash Roy’s career spanning two decades has made him one of the most progressive and revered artists. His style moves through minimal and techno with a pinch of psychedelia, tide up elegantly with percussions.

He is active in Germany and India’s Techno underground scene and has performed unique hybrid sets in Europe, Australia, the USA, and Asia. His deep affection for minimal techno can be heard in releases for labels like Dark Face Recordings, Trapez Ltd., AlpaKa Muzik, Techgnosis, Gain Records, Frequenza, Phobos, Ballroom Records, Jannowitz, Creepy Fingers, Evil Flow, Hydrozoa, Bully Beatz, and his very own Soupherb Records to name a few. He has been recognized for his achievements and has been MyFav India's 'Best Techno DJ' for the year 2014, VH1 Sound Nation's 'Best Electronic DJ’, ‘Producer of the Year’ at MyFav awards 2015 and 2016. Features in Mixmag, Rolling Stone, DJ Mag NL, Faze Mag, Euphoric Mag validates his steadfast approach to his work.
He made his debut at Netherland’s Awakenings in 2017 and was invited again the following year. 2019 was his debut at Esoteric Festival Australia which initiated a 6 gig Australian tour. In 2021 he played on the iconic stage Turmbühne at Fusion Festival's Plan:et C, and also made his debut at Wurzel Festival, Germany.
Ash's 2022 & 2023 summer took him to Fusion Festival, Esoteric Festival, Australia, Hai In Den Mai Festival, Germany, Bucht der Träumer Festival, Gaggalacka Festival, Germany, Master of Puppets, Czech Republic, Château Perché, France, Praerie Festival, Germany, Wurzel Festival, Germany, Jack Bimski Festival Germany, Zouav'Fest, France, to name a few.

Love for interesting sounds and creating a platform for forward-thinking and experimental music producers Ash Roy Launched Souperherb Records in 2013 which is now India’s top minimal techno imprint with over 185 releases from artists from around the world.

Ganz nach dem Motto, der Ton spielt die Musik genieße ich seit ca.20 Jahren den Ton der elektronischen Musik.

Zu meinen ersten selbst gespielten Venyls in einem kleinen Club in Gießen, gehörten unter anderem Underworld (Born Slippy) oder Wassermann (Fackeln im Sturm).

Es kamen im Laufe der Zeit immer wieder mal Auszeiten dazwischen die dafür gesorgt haben neue Inspirationen und Ziele zu stecken. 
Heute bin auch ich in der digitalen Welt angekommen und durfte mich im Radio (Evosonic DE), auf Festivals und Veranstaltungen wie dem Rave and Sun Festival, 10Jahre Colours (Tanzhaus West in FFM), der Move, Birgit's in Berlin beweisen. 

Mit dem spielen von PIK Techno, Hard Techno oder psychodelic Trance möchte ich die Schiene der festgemachten Genres durchbrechen und lade jeden der es Abwechslungsreich mag dazu ein.

And just like that 2024 is gone!! very much thanks to all of you who added my music to your life this year, I do my best to express the emotions that I feel when putting this sets together. It was an active year 2024, I was finally accepted at wicked waves and I self released about 3 albums along with many remixes for great international artist from around the globe. I hope to bring better sets with better visuals and hopefully live performances in a club near you.
