Having just stormed into the Official UK Chart at #11 with first break out hit ‘So Freakin’ Tight’, UK production duo Tough Love have joined forces with S-Man on new collaborative record ‘In the Name of Love’ feat. Nastaly.  

Scheduled for release on April 27th via their own Get Twisted Records imprint, ‘In The Name of Love’ is a punchy, rolling house track that echoes Tough Love’s definitive garage influence, with S-Man’s gritty, driving bass serving as the perfect foil for the duo to showcase more of their club-focused material. Rapper and Get Twisted family member Nastaly provides the vocal to add a more visceral sense of energy and purpose to the bouncy, peak-time flow of the instrumental - a relationship that feels key to the overriding appeal of the record. 

With support from key dance music tastemakers including Annie Mac, and dubbed 'an act you need to look out for' by BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, Tough Love are enjoying a blistering 2015 to date, following impressive remixes of Shift K3Y's 'I Know', Meghan Trainor's ‘All About That Bass' and Clean Bandit's ‘Real Love’. 

Teaming up with Tough Love’s Alex and Stef is house legend Roger Sanchez, who has re-established his S-Man Moniker to return to his club roots and create darker, harder dance records - and the synergy between the two is obvious from the outset. You may be familiar with Sivey from his collaborative record with Evil Needle, 'Constructive Interference', released on Soulection in summer of 2014 or you may have caught one of his uptempo, dreamy DJ sets in and around London.

The Manchester-based producer who seamlessly combines a number of varied aesthetics with his unique, moody synth progressions comes correct with the 17th installation in our White Label Series.

In a cohesive 4-part story, Sivey takes us through slow jams, house and future sounds with broken rhythm grooves reminiscent of jazz fusion.

"I chose these tracks because I felt they represent a good mixture of my influences and styles I like to experiment with” Sivey told us.

Sivey creates his moody sounds using FL Studio and enjoys the challenge of pushing the boundaries of how midi can be used to create live sounding music.

Walton returns with a strictly-limited EP to precede the release of his debut album 'Beyond'. This is a vinyl-only, once it’s gone it’s gone kind of release, just 300 copies available. ‘Baby’ is a brilliant and extreme mutation based around an R&B accapella, one that seems energised by R&B's avant-garde but danceable late ‘90s period. A hiccuping giggle over stuttering rusty engine stabs, and a so-stiff-it's-funky kick and and snare combination, make this a track that works brilliantly on the dance floor by sheer force of ideas and wildness. 'Can't You See's' widescreen ambience is held together by epic swelling chords, punctuated with rolling 8-bit spirals, trap-like bass, and snares. It's held together so tightly, it feels like it's going to 'drop' at any time, but prefers to just tease the listener in a state of excited suspense. Also included is an instrumental version of ‘Baby’
