ALEX BILANCINI, Tuscan, born in 1994, took
his first steps in the Tuscan nightlife perfor-
ming in the famous Fitzcàrraldo in Arezzo.
Quickly captured the attention, Alex has been
inserted as a resident dj and has the opportu-
nity to perform alongside international artists
for some season. Time flows and Alex conti-
nues to cultivate his passion which led him to
perform in clubs like: Tenax, Taotec Arena
Kindergarten, Vox club etc. At the began of
2016 he made his first release on the Italian
label Etruria Beat runned by Luca Agnelli. In
2018 he debut on Etruria Beat with his first
"Crack Of Doom" EP with
Oliver Deutschmann's remix. 2019 started
with a huge release, mentioned several times
on MIXMAG,
"Oblivion" EP, put on fire the
dance floors around the world and had a huge
support from a lot of international Dis. Then is
the time of.
"Parallel"
"Hard Vision
" and
""Collapsé" EP. The story is not over...

A Sunday afternoon delight from two of techno's most beloved heavy-hitters arrives exclusively on our Soundcloud.

Berlin techno viking and founder of Dystopian Records Rødhåd and the young, accomplished and Mote-Evolver regular Rene Wise have released their 4 hour set recording from March 2023, a huge B2B session that saw the pair delve in and out of eachother’s company for our last Continuum party. They played an extended set during the final Continuum 24+hour party of the season this Spring. 

The session, which started at 4pm as the tail end of the afternoon drew in and went on til 8pm ahead of a closing set from Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, proved to be one of our highlights from the event. It's a real treat to be able to share the full recording; smashers from the get-go that takes us through the hard and heavy, to the atmospheric and energetic.

Lock in below and transport to the incomparable energy of Room 1 on a Sunday afternoon. Sometimes, we reckon, there's no place like it.

Track Description: 

“D.A.T.A.” (Junction Hands Mix) is a subtle and mature track that invokes all senses. Junction Hands has the confidence and experience to utilize simplicity to create a powerful, magnificent track. Playing with synthesizers and a mixer, the beat circulates and builds, drawing the listener into another world. The drum track fades in and out of the foreground, always present and perfectly accompanying the melody. Fans of techno will love dancing to this. It could also serve well as a video game. 

“Acrylic” (NHB, Minicool Boyz) starts with a throbbing bass drum beat and high hat. The synthesizer brings in new elements, a progression of chords that lead way to a sudden blast of a female vocal. The throbbing beat is relentless, constantly progressing and changing, avoiding predictability while maintaining a cohesive theme. This would be an ideal track for a festival. It also would appeal to underground clubs.

“You and I” (Tom Hades) begins with a mellow opening, like a merge of soft jungle with some old school European groove. There’s a faint growth as the drum track picks up. Seamlessly, the drum track moves to the foreground as Tom Hades experiments with unique sounds and introduces a male vocal track that commands the attention of the listener. This would be an ideal club anthem that could have a broad range of exterior interest, perhaps at festivals and certainly a wide appeal for international radio.
