FloorFiller Music is proud to announce its 20th jubilee release by the name of ‘FloorFillers Four’: a stellar VA compilation containing six productions solely delivered by home-grown FloorFiller artists.

The VA kicks off with ‘Cheddarcheese’, a heavy-house belter by label boss Jerrymore. Straightforward drums, driving bass and ludicrously insane build-ups are the weapons of choice within this peak-time gem. 

FloorFiller don Deecoy delivers the grooviest offering of the compilation. ‘Velvet Haze’ withholds an irresistible old school load of funk that will undoubtedly do a lot of damage in a wide variety of house-oriented sets. 

The third track on the VA is a top-notch rolling tech house production by our wunderkind Vertier. After previous signings on Lost Records and Lemon-Aid Music, Vertier hits the mark effortlessly again with this jacking gem ‘Sticks & Stones’. 

Newcomer duo Unclesand delivers the fourth track on this compilation, filled with melancholic strings, obscure percussion and an up-paced beat . With ‘Changes’, these trained producers highlight their seamless ability to take it one deeper and darker without breaking a sweat.

After having done a lot of damage in the charts with their last ‘Erosion EP’, Tanzo & Morris make their glorious comeback to the imprint with ‘Puissance’, a refined minimal techno track with an untameable dark feel. 

The 6th and last track on our VA is the most remarkable of them all. Klaps scores his first official release with ‘Captivating’, a highly inventive techno track that locks you in right away until the very end. With this gem, Klaps clearly endorses the fact that he is one of the most promising artists in the Belgian techno scene at this very moment.

Of course, it's not a coincidence that this outstanding electronic live act features our premiere. We discovered Bock & Fuchs a year ago, almost exactly at the time when the idea of Mirror Records came up. And we immediately fell in love with his unique take on electronic music. With drifty grooves, crisp live drums and massive synths, Bock & Fuchs played himself into our hearts and we instantly knew he would be the perfect match for us.Monsterfox is the name of the title track and like the prey on it's flight from the name-giving predator, the lead synth shows a small glimpse now and then until it finally breaks free when the drop kicks in and the wild hunt truly starts! Monsterfox was already the perfect track for every situation but then Bock & Fuchs sent us Signal and we were completely blown away. Signal futures an outer-worldly lead synth, a heavy bass line and catchy percussions all over a stomping kick - perfect for those peak-time moments we all seek and love! To top off the EP, the third and final track called Ka Nalu Nui was the perfect complement. Ka Nalu Nui, hawaiian for the great wave, truly lives up to its name: Catchy sound bites play around a dreamy synth and a heavy bass kicks in from time to time, slowly building up, until it finally breaks like the waves on the shore. Rafael Cerato is our first remixer. We were following his work for a long time and it is a big honor to have him on board for this first release. He took on Monsterfox, making it a little more straight forward and heavier. Granting it a technoid touch that suits both, the track and the label, very well. On the other hand, Suspensus rebuild Signal to an even harder track. The rising talent added a raw and driving touch to the track, while speeding it up and therefore adding the last missing pieces to complete our first release.

Johannes Wockenfuß is Bock & Fuchs.
The Berlin Kreuzberg based artist was a drummer in bands for a big part of his life and also wrote music back then.
Some years ago he started his electronic project Bock & Fuchs and has been very successful with it since, especially with his track "Absorbers".
The name for his debut EP on our label draws from the hard hitting reality Mondays can have for party people and performers.

On the remix side we have a lovely remix by Schlepp Geist of "Beteigeuze". The remix very nicely describes the feeling of zero gravity in an epic format with a cool breakdown. Schlepp
Geist is known for his releases on Katermukke, Brise and many others.
