Timo Maas joins Senso Sounds for two tracks of pulsating contemporary Techno. Maas has been in the game for over 30 years, building a formidable reputation and having worked with a who’s who of top artists - Paul McCartney, Depeche Mode, Fatboy Slim, Madonna and Moby
being just a few of his collaborators. However, Maas has always been fiercely loyal to underground sounds, and here drops some fully primed, tough Techno for Oliver Huntemann’s prolific imprint.
Maasimoto is lean and driving, building up a ferocious energy over the course of its seven and a half minutes - a slightly unhinged arpeggio takes the track into new realms. Supercharger is the perfect accompaniment - a stripped down groove once again gives space to wonky, narcotic synths, resulting in an edgy, euphoric track.

One of the many benefits to Senso Sound’s prolific release schedule is the exposure it allows to new artists alongside the more established names in the scene. Here, Lars Kohl, aka BOHO, drops his first EP for Oliver Huntemann’s label, following on from a handful of releases on his own Jannowitz Records imprint. The Ungeduld EP (‘impatience’ in English) showcases the Cologne based DJ and producer’s talent for no nonsense dancefloor primed techno. Skip The Line kicks off with an urgent groove welded to a gnarly, growling bass synth. Other ravey hits and blips punctuate the track giving it a hardcore edge that yearns for for sweaty clubs. Title track Ungeduld has a similar restless energy, but the groove is a slick, pared-down beast that underpins more unruly synth blasts. Last up is Mint, a slightly deeper groove that exudes a euphoric malevolence through tightly controlled tension and its eventual release.

We are pleased to welcome Revival Agents for the first time on our Imprint. The EP kicks off with "Potion", the title track of this EP features a beautiful build up of driving drums and ethereal harmonies which progress with beautiful vocals until it drops back into the driving touch of this Progressive House banger. Next up is Heinrich & Heines take on "Potion". He preserved the overall feeling of the original, supported it with stirring pad sounds and therefore lifts it up into unknown realms. On the flip side of the EP we have "Monad", presenting the tribalistic side of Revival Agents with haunting vocals and twirling percussions. The EP then finishes off with "WARP" a straight forward dancefloor monster with driving drums and stirring harmonies.
