We're finally back with a brand new guest mix. This time we've invited the massively talented Rotterdam based DJ and founder of the 'Infinite Depth' label; Rakontur. He's proven to be a master curator as it comes to the amazing releases on his label (founded in 2018). For this set he's delivered a perfect captivating groove different than we can hear on his own label. The mix is actually a set that he played in a dark sweaty basement rave somewhere in Rotterdam a little while back. We all know these types of raves, including a full energetic vibe that makes everyone just wants to dance the night away. In our opinion he captured that vibe perfectly. Enjoy!

About 13 years ago Rakontur hit the play button for the first time and has been attached to playing electronic music ever since. During those years he became an active member of the event and music scene, not only as a dj, but also as a label owner, event manager, booking agent and of course as a clubber himself. 

Throughout this time there has been quite an evolvement in his sound, after which he found home in melodic techno. This eventually came down to his preferred sound that’s mainly groovy, melodic, tensed and, wherever possible, with a dark mood.

THE mpht DJ  began uploading on Soundcloud in late January 2024 and has shared over 80 of his own curated DJ mixes and thousands of artists tracks in playlists and with reposts. 
Motivated to support new music from Progressive EDM producers and DJs from all over the world, MPHT embraces a variety of BPMs, vibes and energies, focussed on Organic Downtempo , EDM Love Stories , For the Love of and 100% Purity DJ mixes on Soundcloud ( youtube in development ). 
MPHT has recently enjoyed a weekly spot with Data Transmission and has exciting plans for 2026.
