Lowlita Records, the label created by Anna Tur, Gonçalo and Hosse, continues its particular journey based on a concept that perfectly fuses the groove of House and the forcefulness of Techno. On this occasion, their third release is called "Open Up" and is by one of the label's owners, Hosse, an artist who has had music running through his veins since he was just a child. Deeply influenced by jazz, soul and funk, Hosse soon discovered his true love: electronic music.

Anna Tur and Gonçalo's remix of "Open Up" takes over. Their proposal is more forceful, basing its groove on more emphatic beats and less percussive movement. The vocal continues to be an essential element in this track, taking advantage of its suggestive tone and adding it to cyclical atmospheres that end up exploding in a drop that will take the dancefloor by storm.

Techno and subversion united: rave is the answer! The most international Ibizan artist that the beloved white island has ever produced presents her new release wrapped in a halo of vindication. Through the first track, "Manicomio", Anna addresses the political and social contradiction that the western world is currently living. Insistent and intense, as the name of the track itself indicates, "Manicomio" is a Techno blast that rides to the rhythm of its devilishly powerful drums. Laughter, sirens and contradictory messages intertwine with furious hertzian waves that intensify the track. The light comes in the form of synthesizers taking us back to 90s raves. A declaration of intentions that incites to dance and have fun as a perfect antidote to these crazy times during the pandemic. A track that represents the present moment and the desire to go out and let loose. "Positive Mind" closes the release. A more introspective track, which makes the rhythmic and acidic loop a mantra that sustains your mind and your dance, only broken by a few touches of synth that elevate the composition and give it a futuristic and industrial feel. If "Manicomio" invites you to go out and dance, "Positive Mind" is the track you need to continue the rave for a few more hours. Lowlita, the label founded by Anna Tur herself together with Gonçalo and Hosse, accompanies all its releases with a cover created by different graphic designers. On this occasion, the artwork is by Italian painter and graffiti artist Riccardo Lopez, better known as White Rabbit. Bright colours, recognisable icons and an ironic and critical vision of contemporary culture are his hallmarks. Another example of the vindictive nature of this release.

“My Girls” es la novena referencia de Lowlita Records, el sello creado por Anna Tur, Gonçalo y Hosse que fusiona el groove del House y la contundencia del Techno. Una auténtica oda a las emociones firmada por la propia Anna Tur. 

El EP está compuesto por dos cortes originales. El primero es “Georgina”, track que estrenamos en exclusiva inspirado en los grandes cambios que a veces nos trae la vida, y la intensidad de las emociones que los acompañan. Su escucha es un viaje a través de la euforia y la experiencia. A ello contribuyen especialmente sus synths, que con sus giros melódicos recrean esa aura tan particular que envuelve los sentimientos.

El artwork es una obra original de Gaap, artista ecuatoriano afincado en Barcelona que se define como netexpresionista. Su obra utiliza el narcisismo a la vez como crítica y como reclamo con el objetivo de trascender y provocar un verdadero crecimiento; tanto personal como social.
