Juliet’s productions have found their own identity with each featuring her unique and trippy vocals wrapped into her ever experimental hooks and basslines. Over the past two years, the Australian artist has spent her time exploring her musical tastes and learning new production techniques in her studio based out of Berlin. Her love of hardware and synthesizers has grown and they have featured heavily in her most recent productions.

Mark Reeve, 12 years old, gets infected with the electronic virus. UK is in Techno-Rave fever with breaks, beats and bass. Mark concentrates on the harder Techno sound of London's funky vibes, then develops his own style. At the age of 16, he starts to play regularly as a club DJ. His passion for juicy electric sound then knew no borders.


In the middle of the 90's the Reeves move to Germany - a new start for the young DJ. Mark starts to visit clubs like The Omen and extends his horizon by the sound played in Frankfurt (Germany) by Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos and others. His homebase sound remains tech house and techno with groovy rhythms and bang out beats and most importantly, that hip swinging touch.

In 2011 “the big year” Mark releases his first EP on Cocoon Recordings and “Daybreak On Mars” gets its first spin by Cocoon boss himself Sven Väth. Not only the leading track had heavy support from Väth and others but also “Lichtkleid” got its heavy plays by non other than Minus icon Richie Hawtin.

2012, Mark teamed up with Pig & Dan, which has proved to be an amazing partnership. Soma Records was the first label to finish the final step and release the first EP, which is available now. Mark will also be releasing his “Dice” EP on Soma Records in May which makes everything complete. In addition to his EP on Soma Records Mark will also be releasing on one of the biggest techno labels that has been around for more than 16 years Adam Beyer´s Drumcode. His Debut single on Drumcode is planed for the 8th of October 2012 and is called "Drumatics". Also closely followed in November 2012 with his second EP called "With Us" for Sven Väth´s Cocoon Recordings.

2015, The year that changed everything. After his First Hit "Drumatics" On Drumcode a Number one Hit Followed At The end of The year ! His Second EP On Adam Beyer's Drumcode made it to The number one Spot On Beatport. Not only "Run Back" But also "Exposure" Made it to second Position which made this EP Probably the best Mark Has ever Done.

Not only can his original tracks be heard, but also remix projects have been started and finished from Extrawelt,Dusty Kid, Sian, Justin Berkovi, Marco Bailey, Dosem, Gary Beck, Arnaud Le Texier and Moonbeam - just to name a few.

Mark is known as a non stop DJ. As an artist, he has now had his most important releases on cult label, Cocoon Recordings, Drumcode, Soma, Bek Audio, Traumschallplatten, Trapez, Herzblut and Bedrock. His tracks are always a mixture between dancefloor moovers - including groovy rhythms - and big basslines.

Tasillo - "We don’t always play all of those tracks in our live sets but we still love them. This 9 Essentials edition is quite dance floor orientated and starts with a vocal from one of the last Figure Records releases. We like Len Faki’s label Figure a lot and thought that this vocal is a great intro for the mix. The second track is a remix from Len Faki and we actually play it quite often as an intro track. It builds up a nice energy and brings people into the right mood for a Pan-Pot set :) Solaris Iterations from Kaspiann is an amazingly deep techno track. Great grooves with deep atmospheres. The following track is a remix from Kyle Geiger. Loving the (Italo) disco vibe in it. Next up is DEAS with his track Space race. The whole EP of Deas is a banger. Same as Rocko Garoni’s track “It’s All Yours“ feat Cook Strummer. Super dark and deep techno. Second State’s longterm member Michael Klein delivered a banger with Hoisin which follows Rocko’s track. The track “Reason“ from Proxima is a moody acid banger and always works brilliantly in clubs. Last but not least as an outro we chose a breakbeat remix from Delta Funktionen to roundup the whole mix. The formation of Pig&Dan may have been an unusual one, but was no doubt fate. The two crossed paths on a flight to Mallorca back in 1999, when Dan was a resident DJat Ministry of Sound and touring globally, and Igor was deep in the world of illegal underground raves whilst producing music under the name Tropic 39.By that stage the two had gone through a number of strong formative years surrounded by music.

Growing up, Dan was exposed to some of the most influential musicians of the time. His father was regarded as one ofthe greatest Saxophone players in the world, working with legends including Marvin Gaye, Phil Collins and Ray Charles. It was the perfect environment for the young boy to spark anear for melody and grooves. Having worked with great success as a sound engineerin his teens and early 20s, Dan founded his own group ‘Intense’ alongside one of his oldest friends. The group, while playing at raves all over the UK and producing innovative new music remained confined to Britain, until they launched Logical Progression Level 3 at Brixton Academy. With a live recording of their new album, they became an underground hit and were signed to Sony Japan, taking them on tour globally.

Igor, by the age of 16, after a visit back to Mallorca for a summer vacation where he firstexperienced nightlife, regularly went out at every opportunity he had. When he finished school and moved to University in London, all his money went to growing his record collection and he would spend hours mixing at his house instead of studying. Every moment he could spare would be spent in some of London’s landmark clubs, such as The Cross, Ministry Of Sound and Club UK, which all played a huge part in Igor’s progression into the world of electronic music. Although Igor also worked in a Rock music studio his passion was throwing raves in his homeland, Mallorca.

1999 arrives and Dan hops on a flight to Mallorca to see his sick mother, and this is where he begins his first ever encounter with Igor, after some initial banter about the industry, they swap numbers, but never call one another. Coincidentally a mutual friend in Palma reintroduced them to one another in 2001, neither remembered meeting 2 years earlier onthat plane journey. However, eventually the connection clicked and a few studio sessions later, they discovered their powerful synergy when working together and after some hedonistic visits to Ibiza, their true united passion for techno was discovered. The guys submitted their demo ‘Oh Yeah’to Sven and his Cocoon label which was released just a few months later, leading to the creation of Pig&Dan.

Since then, Pig&Dan have achieved an amazing back catalog of releases on labels including Soma, Plus8, Terminal M, Bedrock and more recently Drumcode. Chart topping releases came in the form of‘Growler’ and their landmark LP‘Modular Baptism’on their own cherished label ELEVATE. And not forgetting their 2016 debut to Adam Beyer’s Drumcode with ‘Mexico’ and ‘Chemistry’ which sat at the No.1 Techno Track spot on Beatport for over 2 months, leading to another 3 EP’s being signed to the label.

Pig&Dan are still all about the music, and always will be. It appears that 2018 could be the most important and transformative year of all. Having just featured on the most recent cocoon compilation and a full length EPto come later in the year along with a very exciting new project soon tobe released, it seems that Pig&Dan’s musical Odyssey is only just beginning.
