After gracing the world with a giant set of arabian goggles in the form of his "Busted With A Bag Of Bliss“ album for My Favorite Robot Records, Sid Le Rock has gotten off his high-horse and come back to the warm embrace of Beachcoma. The summer is over. We have removed sand from every crevice imaginable, but the show must go on and Sid brings the goods like no-one else. 

Lake Superior, the largest lake by surface area in the world appears more like an ocean when seen for the first time. An immense and turbulent body of water, it can even provide decent surfing for those beach-bums who can brave it's frigid temperatures. It's an appropriate name for this monster of a track. Do not try to tame such a beast, instead realize her power 
and give in to her mercy. 

Superior is home to many Little Critters. An interesting example is the Slimy Sculpin, which although is a fish, has no scales and sucks at swimming. This track does not suffer from this problem though, as it glides effortlessly through the murky depths. Approaching quietly, it soon reveals itself for the predator it is, but by then it's too late and we are engulfed in the abyss.

This is my next release on my own label Soundfate that will be released on 11th may.

"Not Yet" it's a mix of 3 different ideas/loops I used to play a lot that became one track at the end. With a powerful groove at just 126 bpm, I tried to catch the vibe from my live performances. I worked hard in the EQ to make it sound techno while elegant.

"Believe " is a classic track from my livesets as well. I just updated the idea to make it more Dj friendly. It's a very energetic track with a live modulated analog synth that gives an instant positive feeling.

I'm glad to release again at Soundfate, my home. I wish you like it!

When you have been running a label as long as we have, it occasionally happens that you have releases up the pipeline which take ages to be released. The remix EP for Patrick Chardronnet’s 2013 hit "All I Got“ is such a case. Already planned for more than a year ago, it has taken this long to be ready for release. But, as good things sometimes simply need time, we think it was well worth the wait and are now more than happy with the result: Four remixes in total, three for "All I Got“ and one for "Random Beauty“, make the release complete, now.

We kick off with the Audiofy Hook Remix, a characteristic interpretation for the super simpatico and world-traveling DJ-duo and long-time friends of Connaisseur. Super tripping, massively grooving and big in love of details. Thank you boys!

Next up is man of the moment Musumeci. His take on "All I Got“ is a super catchy pearl in his own distinctive arp-driven style with touching and tender melodies. A tune for your heart and soul which we are sure will be a regular in many sets in the next months.
The third and last version of "All I Got“ is by German rising star Schlepp Geist, who just had a strong open air track with "Tura“ on our summer V.A. “BBQ Techno 5”. His interpretation, screaming "RAVE ALERT", will destroy dance foors. Massive alarm sounds and a demanding groove make this tune a peaktime guarantor.

The fourth and last track is a remix for "Random Beauty“, the timeless b-side of the original release, which we consider one of the best tracks Patrick Chardronnet has ever have made. Responsible for the remix here is Anthony Middleton, one half of Audiofy and the amazing US act Dance Spirit, well known for their releases on Audiofy’s sublime Supernature label.Their remix is a pure trip taking you far away. Their sensitive dealing with the parts shows their big respect towards the original work. A special track for a special moment.
