Inspired by the DJ’s he saw at Midge Death 2008, his first Scottish free party, Wee Dancer bought a set of Technics 1210’s just a couple months later. Since then he has been pursuing his passion of providing banging tunes to the underground techno scene in Scotland and beyond.

During his time as a DJ, wee_dancer has played at club nights, raves and festivals across Scotland and the UK, including the popular club nights Wax Factory, Eurotrip, Megadog, Drum Clinic and Nitric, as well as the recently launched Juiced Up festival. This has seen him supporting names such as Mark Archer (Altern8), Mark EG, Egebamyasi, AGT Rave Cru, Jack Wax, Aaron Liberator, John Rowe and Mobile Dogwash to name a few. More recently, wee_dancer was made one of the chief residents at Glasgow club night, The Apache. 

Wee Dancer's preferred genre to mix is high-energy techno but he plays a range of music including techno, acid techno, oldskool techno, acid house and breakbeat. In addition to his DJ’ing, he also produces his own music live on hardware, with a liveset in the pipeline for 2017. His setup includes the Roland TR-8, Bassbot TT-303, Korg Electribe 2 and Korg Electribe ESX-1. Having just recently played his first live hardware gig in Bristol, the hard, driven acid liveset is ready for the masses!

One of the characteristics Wee Dancer strives for in his music - both DJ’ing and production- is to provide something different. His vinyl collection is varied and carefully chosen and his own productions display influences from his favourite artists whilst retaining his own sound.

Moxxie, Glasgow-based vinyl DJ immersed in Scotland’s underground music scene, returns refreshed, recharged, and ready to deliver! 

Recently debuting on Belgium’s UrgentFM radio show Breaxity, as part of the Scottish label FoxBam’s takeover, with her first-ever vinyl breaks set, marking an exciting milestone in her DJ path. 

Moxxie is also one half of MOXTROT, a newly launched turntablist collab with her longtime pal and techno devotee, Foxtrot. This duo delivers electrifying B2B techno vinyl sets, taking the ravers on an unforgettable journey every time they hit the decks.

Over the years, she has played alongside acclaimed selectors such as Dave The Drummer, Altern8, Geezer, Rachel Rackett, Mark Broom and A.P, while also smashing it at numerous free parties set in the idyllic Scottish countryside.

Acutek is a Techno Artist from the rural highlands of Scotland. An ambassador for Scottish nightlife, the ‘Flick’ frontman has been championed for his contribution to the scene in his hometown and further afield.

With over a decade of musical experience, Acutek’s palate can be described as ethereal Techno with rough edges. Citing inspiration from Slam, Petrichor, Frai.zer, Pan-Pot and more, atmospheric spaces and storytelling breaks are met frequently by gritty and potent grooves in abundance.

An esteemed producer, Acutek has already achieved commendable success within a relatively short period. His 2018 release on Biotech Recordings topped the Beatport ‘Hard Techno’ chart and was supported by the likes of Luigi Madonna, Christian Valera, Mark EG & TKNO among others. Acutek also has releases on Gibbon Records, Unknown Territory and Space City Recordings to boot, with several others lying in wait.

A frequent feature at many of Scotland’s burgeoning Techno venues and festivals including The Tunnels, Mash House, Bongo Club, Ironworks, Belladrum Festival, Mugstock Festival - Acutek has already had the pleasure of supporting some of the industry’s finest names. Jasper James, Jay Lumen, T78, Ramiro Lopez, Stephano Noferini, Gary Beck, Mark Broom, Pleasurekraft, Bontan, Anna, Lex Gorrie, Quail, Hans Bouffmyhre and Tommy Four Seven being just some of the artists to feature on the same lineup as the Forres native.

A talisman student of Glasgow’s revered SubSine Academy (dubbed ‘Soma Skool’ by many), Acutek has often rubbed shoulders with some of Techno’s most-celebrated artists whilst learning the tools of the trade. He has also invested his efforts into the globally-acclaimed Toolroom Academy, with the quality of his productions growing in stature at an exponential rate.

Using his ‘Flick’ event brand as a platform to further develop his reputation within the industry along with more releases and bookings in the pipeline, Acutek is planting all the right seeds to enable him to grow into a household name within the Techno universe.
