Proveniente de la zona oeste del área metropolitana de Buenos Aires, Argentina, y con poco más de veinte años de edad, Joaquín Ruiz se consolida rápidamente como uno de los nuevos exponentes de la escena under del techno local. Con una trayectoria sólida y en ascenso dadas sus cualidades para el oficio de la mezcla, encabeza la camada de renovación de djs locales. Bajo las influencias de djs como Tommy Four Seven, DVS1, Ben Klock , Marcel Dettmann, etc. las presentaciones de Joaquín Ruiz se multiplican en distinto tipo de eventos y pistas de baile electrónicas nacionales. Compartiendo cabina con los djs Diego Cid, Mariano DC, Udolph, Pfirter, Pandy, Jonas Kopp, entre otros, se destaca en las residencias del emblemático club de baile Cocoliche, en las pistas de Under Club de Bloody y en West de Pinar de Rocha.
