To create, one must sometimes let go of what is known, to go beyond what is safe to the creator. Crush the current state of mind and really start thinking out of the box, creating something that you might not be familiar with.

Crush & Create might sound like opposites but in this case, crush means making way for the new and exploring. Crush can break borders after which it's possible to create without anything holding you back or previous judgments influencing you. Creating what has not been done before is a key factor to the creative process, it encourages renewal. 

With this EP, ANDROM created 5 tracks that are without borders, taking influences from his youth when he listened to metal bands and the use of electric guitars in music, later also using these in his own productions. Furthermore taking inspiration from movie soundtracks and creating stories within his tracks that take the listener on a journey.

Over various genres and tempo ranges, ANDROM shows his production skills.

🎶 Welcome to MIAOMIX28 by Miao Music Copenhagen, featuring our new guest —Pakulis, a resident of Pure Echo!

Pakulis grew up in a small town called Leipalingis in southern Lithuania, still lives there and believes that summers are the warmest there, while the ice for fishing is the firmest. He spends his free time in nature, usually holding a fishing rod in his hands or around a campfire with a close group of friends. Pakulis is not the one to sit around without anything to do, so he is constantly learning something new, getting involved in local community activities and he for sure doesn't miss the opportunity to visit the big cities, where the techno music scene is on them. Electronic music scene is a big part of his life - having been drawn to fast beats from an early age, Pakulis is not the guy who’d limit his music to specific subgenres, for he enjoys a wide range of styles: hard techno, hard
trance, acid, schranz, hardstyle, industrial, as well as oldschool techno. Growing up these styles of music stuck to his hyperactive way of being and his cheerful personality. Looking to try his hand at organizing events and playing for a bigger crowd, he came upon Pure Echo and became a member of their family. Pakulis feels that he has found his place here - a home for his soul and ideas, accompanied by many like-minded people who motivate him to move forward.

I’m Mike, born in Belgium in 1974.
I started my musical career at the age of 10 with vocals and piano lessons. Later I moved on to drums and keyboards.
In the 80s I began playing with cassettes and a tape recorder, under the influence of Newbeat and Acid. Early 90s I bought my first Pioneers and professional turntables. Trance became my speciality, soon followed by Underground and UK Trance. I played about anything but the commercial tracks. This gave me the opportunity to prove myself in several local afterclubs.
After this period I got settled and started a family.
But as you all know… you can’t lose the music microbe. In 2015 I decided to start playing again. Techno was my favourite style and the results were quiet well. I prefer Melodic Techno and Techno with “a great drive”. Meanwhile my “This is Techno” series are regularly played on Techno Live Sets.
Currently I’m rather active on the internet, but I hope for more. Just like my idols, Sven Väth, Carl Cox and Pan Pot I would like to do my thing on festivals and in clubs. It would be great to entertain people and to share the style I like so much.
I’m very proud to announce that I’m one of the 300 resident DJs of Fnoobtechno.com. I hope this gives me some more publicity and opportunities within the techno scene.
Recently I also discovered producing. It’s still in an early stage, but I’m eager for more.
