What started out as something we do for fun quickly turned into a channel through which we can share our passion for electronic music. We had no idea that more than 5 years later we would've hosted so many amazing artists, and even more amazing human beings. Thanks for the support, and thanks to all our loyal listeners, tuning in everyday from all over the world ❤️.

As regulars at @initiate_concept we figured @pattrn_dj is the right soul for the occasion. He is co-founder and resident of the event series. They invite guests and labels to the @fusebrussels motion room on a regular basis. Some Initiate highlights are the @midgar_records label night, @svrecaofficial and @wata at the @semantica-records showcase, @korridor, @modern heads, @refracted-music,...

Sonic experiments derived from syncopated rhythms, intricately crafted ambiences, and patiently evolving textures, Pattrn’s work as a producer bases itself on the creation of space and its perception for the audience. Playing violin since the age of four and later on majoring in both acousmatic music composition and sound engineering, Pattrn’s precision is the fruit of a lifelong dedication to music of all forms, from creation in itself or through his implications in Brussels’ scene. 

Beyond the years of technical know-how and self improvement in production, DJing, and live sets,  Brice Deloose aka Pattrn has been an active member of the local scene for quite some time. Cocreator of FTRSND, Brussels By Night Federation, Initiate, as well as having been the artistic director of Fuse club, Pattrn has spent much of his time promoting local artists and collectives to push forward Brussels' underground. 

Having shared the decks with the likes of Luke Slater, Luigi Tozzi, Claudio PRC, Kangding Ray, Svreca, and many more, Pattrn uses his sets to impose his world of seamless hypnotic music to lure passionates for always one last dance.

Revelation of Sound is pleased to present F-on, also known as Alfonso Pomeda. He is a Dj and producer and has been a prominent figure within the Madrid electronic music scene for many years .His progressive sessions, profound and with long mixes, are real voyages that sail through experimental music, ambient and horizontal and dubby techno. His productions are 4x4 experiments of low tempo with field recordings and marked spaces, where he explores timbres, textures and cinematographic structures.
He has recently launched together with Kawn, "Tactil",  a project formed in 2020 focused on experimental slow techno that released its first vinyl in April this year on Antimatter.
He is multi-tasking running Is the Place record-store , Calma Madrid series of events, Antimatter label , Alpenglühen events & label.
Alpenglühen is a German word which conveys an optical phenomenon in which the last light ray on the mountain falls before nightfall. It is called that because the music falls somewhere in between light and darkness.

For 64th instalment, Cellar Door is welcoming a creative dj a producent hailing from Colombian Medellín. https://soundcloud.com/951012 wrote a story, that slowly floats in the beginning but eventually gravitate towards more beaty energetic parts.  Dreamy distorted pads are cursing through dystopian ambience.

MNMT 356 : Pattrn

This morning finds us at the end of 2023, the last Sunday of the year. We’ve been so fortunate to have a wealth of wonderful guest mixes to accompany our journey through the seasons and our arrival here is no different. Brice Deloose aka Pattrn is a Brussels based producer, and dj, not to mention label owner as well. As head of Initiate Records, Brice’s discerning ear for quality music extends through many different genres, which aptly describes his mix for us today. Gliding effortlessly through the varied flavors of ambient and downtempo, Brice weaves an introspective tale, perfect for morning walks, or those moments of solitude before the onslaught of the day.

Here’s to a final send off of 2023, and onwards to 2024 for more music, more challenges, and above all, more Sunday mornings…

Next on the series we welcome Josef Gaard (@josefgaard).
Originally based in the Seattle area and now living in Berlin, he has been sharing his salient sound through productions and performances for years. His penchant for both ambient music and dance-floor oriented styles has landed him at some of the best venues across Europe. His recent record, "2929" on Mountain Explosion Device saw him working with artists such as Kalawila and Dorisburg and gained international acclaim. As a DJ he is a true music connoisseur, consistently surprising audiences by weaving seamlessly throughout different genres.

Precept 031 | Josef Gaard

Originally from a metalcore and hardcore background VANTA has always enjoyed electronic and experimental music. Heavily influenced by his background and the techno scene in Leipzig, he focues his sound around impulsive rhythms, dissociative sounds and dark atmospheres. As a founding member of PVC he is also organising raves in clubs and woods around the Leipzig area and working his way into the local scene. In between intricated tribalism and layers of droney and atmospheric textures, VANTA's mix is the first of our "Gold" podcast series.

For this episode we welcome a great Greek DJ and producer, Victor Zala.
He creates hypnotic atmospheres which, combined which textured sonic landscapes and melodic and dynamic elements, create an unconditional energy that turns every set he plays into a passionate journey.
He likes to experiment and mix diverse musical styles, which leads to unexpectedly good combinations.
Recently he released his first EP on Koslif where in 2019 he had also participated in a VA among other artists from the label's family and became a basic member of the Athens imprint.
