Syana is a multi-disciplinary artist born & raised in Montreal. From DJ'ing at raves to self-producing her electronica EP '19 Years of Rage', Syana plays with sounds to insight emotions and move your body. If it's at a rave or in your headphones, you will witness Syana's mind! Theatrics, MC'ing and performance art, Syana is a member and representative of Mother Elle Barbara's notorious House of Barbara. 

On top of her artistic path, Syana has been working as community worker for the trans community in Montreal for almost a year and a half. She is now working at Project 10 as the Trans Activities Coordinator.

HAUTERAGEOUS MIX #2: SYANA

Jane calls her own productions a reflection of herself: ‘The battle between euphoria and melancholy with an emphasis on dynamics, ruled by the combination of obscurity with tristesse. - My productions always display a certain dualism, symbolistically and emotionally referring to my inner self.
As first, intimidating, brutal percussion with attention to a hammering rhythm for the dance floor. Second, there’s always the presence of my ultimate watermark.
