Following EXHALE’s first VA release in 2020, the party series turned label once again welcomes existing members, flourishing producers and blossoming new artists to the EXHALE family for its second various artists compilation.

Premiere: Fractions - Angel Lust [Vol.02]

Involve Records releases its second VA to celebrate ten glorious years since 
its founding in 2012. After many release featuring the likes of Amelie Lens, 
FJAAK, Boston 168 and Regal himself, the label now welcomes uprising stars 
Fractions and legends David Moleon, DJ Ogi and The Geezer. 
First in line is Czech techno duo Fractions with Angel Lust, a stomping rave 
anthem for big stages, reflecting the sound they’re known for from releases on
labels such as Monnom Black and Possession. David Moleon is up next with 
Hold On, a groovy and rumbling techno cut with housy elements and chopped 
vocals creeping in between heavy kicks. DJ Ogi follows with Akturianac, an 
aggressive belter with rolling drums, sounding like it’s coming straight from the
early 2000’s. Stay Up Forever and Hydraulix hard techno legend The Geezer 
follows with an ecstatic and crack-brained melody on his banger track A Word 
About Your Soul, closing the EP with a bang.

Today we premiere some nail biting techno from a new Irish label Puragtory. Their first VA features an amalgamation of both Irish and international talent and today we host ‘Executioner’ by Richie Corrigan which lyes on pulverising bass drums, textured distortion and metallic percussion.

Irish techno party Purgatory launches its first chapter as a label with a hard hitting VA of angry techno. Purgatory was born in Berlin with the aim of hosting tough as nails techno parties with avant-garde acts from across Europe and Ireland. Purgatory has hosted heavy hitters Dave Clarke, Chlär, Echoes Of October, Illnurse, Cailín, Jamie Behan & more across Berlin, Manchester & Galway.

The party & label celebrates its year anniversary of ferocious techno, with the birth of the label which features act’s from Ireland and further ashore, which keeps in line with labels ethos. Among the bill of producers on the VA is Cailín, Richie Corrigan, D. Carbone, Aero, Myler, Felix6ood & Pet Duo.

Today we host a ‘Executioner’ from label founder Richie Corrigan. Richie cut his teeth as a DJ in Galway and Limerick, hosting parties in varous club as well as being responsible for multiple underground parties across the two cities before moving to Berlin. Over the years Richie has supported Dave Clarke, Paul Seul, Echoes of October, PETDuo, Cailín, Angy Kore, Gabriel Padrevite and more.

‘Executioner’ lyes in a tangent with his love for distortion, and the tribal feeling of pounding bass. Tough off-kilter bass drums, work with sliver licked percussion hits and troublesome distorted atmospheres. The track has sudden breakdown points, before arriving at a new venomous energy. This is angry and cathartic techno made for the floor

Rooted in the late 90s Rave scene of South Sweden, Resver shaped his craft in sound via various stations including Budapest and Berlin before settling in Copenhagen. Following two EPs on his own and Erik Jäähalli’s label In City And In Forest, he is releasing his first full length album on Barcelona based label Diffuse Reality.  On the album When Your Mind Starts To Slow Down, Resver takes us on a journey through a stripped, raw and synth-heavy sound, that lies somewhere in between Detroit, Berlin and Acid Techno, while also bringing to mind both Chicago House and early Trance vibes.
