After remixing French rap’s shooting stars Hyacinthe and Biffty, and releasing an explosive collaborative EP with Evil Grimace, Von Bikräv is coming out of his beloved Seine-Saint-Denis (93) and is back on Casual Gabberz for his first solo release. 

Blending hardcore kicks and screeching synths with French rap cuts, Von Bikräv delivers two hard hitting tracks that make you want to burn down cars and topple over governments.

Brothers Harvey and Ryan McKay return to Drumcode with their dynamic Alias project.

We were introduced to Alias last year when the McKay brothers dropped the impact-heavy ‘Visions’ EP mid-way through 2017. The duo followed with a lauded contribution for Drumcode Live and the buzz from fans was palpable. The follow up sees the pair in powerhouse form. 

The title track ‘NRG’ is an attitude-packed tour de force; compromised of aggressive snares, warped vocals and a tension-filled break, it has been smashed by Adam Beyer for the last six months. ‘Orange Sunshine’ pulls no punches as it dishes out apocalyptic acid paired with the sibling’s startling drum work. ‘The Event’ rounds out the EP and is an exhilarating affair propelled by uplifting synth lines and a buzzing energetic bassline.

Christian Cambas is back and celebrates his return with an original track on one of his favorite labels.&nbsp; 
Keeping things totally subliminal with a haunting melody and an apocryphal vocal snippet, we are kept locked in via the pulsating bass and commanding synths that seem to have been programmed in some kind of dismal future.&nbsp; 

A remix from label boss T78 was essential to this release, and the original has been completely flipped on its head, with a big surprise halfway through, as only he knows how. Another brother-in-arms from the other side of the pond is up next, and of course we are talking about Durtysoxxx who based his version on the synth progressions and provided the heads-down vibe of the package.&nbsp; 
UK duo Drumsauw seal the deal with a spacious mix, letting their rendition breathe effortlessly while keeping the production crystal clear.
