Broken Robot - Secret Garden - 15.07.23 - CZ

This 5th release consists of three tracks made by the twin duo Manic Brothers, one edited by Petter B. They have during their relativity short career proven themselves as worthy keepers of the Swedish techno heritage with big releases on Drumcode a.o. What they bring to Bond on this release is their signature big room sound but with a much more simplified approach than previously heard. On the a-side there are two great tool tracks with lots of space for creative interpretation for a DJ. On the flip there are a long and epic track with a massive vocal breakdown. Groove based but yet with a big and strong hook. 

The label Bond is the brainchild of Swedish techno DJ and producer Petter B. The concept of the label is “music by DJs for DJs”. The label focuses on releasing tracks that enable the DJ, rather than the producer, to be creative. It is based on that special bond which is created every time a DJ combines tracks, loops and sounds live into something new and unique.

David, better known as SEELE, was born in Berlin on May 23, 2003. His alias stands for the rather darker, gloomy and unknown side of techno. He started his musical journey at the age of 14 when he listened to artists like Hackler & Kuch, Niereich, Knobs, Mike Rud and Strobetech on constant loop. With a group of friends David later met at his vocational school who were also into techno music, he exchanged ideas and started exploring Berlin's wonderful techno clubs and illegal raves, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Knowing what he had, some of David's friends and he organized an illegal rave in Brandenburg in August 2022, where he also played his very first set for over 100 people. Since then, he has played at several underground raves and capitalized on the corona pandemic.

David also started his monthly techno podcast called "Underground Sessions" on November 1, 2022, where small underground artists and he occasionally play and present their sets. He is also a member of the label "Geballersound".

David, besser bekannt als SEELE, wurde am 23. Mai 2003 in Berlin geboren. Sein Alias steht für die eher dunklere, düstere und unbekannte Seite des Technos. Er begann seine musikalische Reise im Alter von 14 Jahren, als er Künstler wie Hackler & Kuch, Niereich, Knobs, Mike Rud und Strobetech in Dauerschleife hörte. Mit einer Gruppe von Freunden, die David später in der Berufsschule kennenlernte und die ebenfalls auf Techno-Musik standen, tauschte er Ideen aus und begann, Berlins wunderbare Techno-Clubs und illegale Raves zu erkunden, besonders während der COVID-19-Pandemie.

Mit dem wissen was er hatte, organisierten einige von Davids Freunden und er im August 2022 einen illegalen Rave in Brandenburg, wo er auch sein allererstes Set vor über 100 Leuten spielte. Seitdem hat er auf mehreren Underground-Raves gespielt und von der Corona-Pandemie profitiert.

Am 1. November 2022 startete David außerdem seinen monatlichen Techno-Podcast „Underground Sessions“, in dem kleine Underground-Künstler und er gelegentlich ihre Sets spielen und präsentieren. Desweiteren ist er Mitglied des Labels „Geballersound“ und konnte erste Club-Erfahrungen im VOID Club Berlin sammeln.

▪️IMØRTAL ist ein aufstrebender DJ und Produzent aus Köln, der schon in jungen Jahren mit elektronischer Musik in Berührung kam. 2018 begann er, selbst aufzulegen und während der Corona-Pandemie brachte er sich das Produzieren bei.

▪️Soundtechnisch fühlt er sich im Bereich Driving Techno und Psytechno am wohlsten. Seine Musik zeichnet sich durch treibende Beats und abgespacte Sounds aus.

DarK LiZZ – geboren und aufgewachsen in Berlin, ist eine aufstrebende DJane und Produzentin, die seit Anfang 2022 die dunklen Klangwelten des Techno erobert. Mit ihrem treibenden Sound zwischen 135 und 145 BPM verbindet sie düstere Energie mit kompromisslosem Druck.

Als Resident bei PSYCHO im KitKat Club Berlin und Volume Berlin Records steht sie für rohe, ungefilterte Underground-Vibes, die jeden Dancefloor in Ekstase versetzen. Ihr Stil? Pure Darkness – kompromissloser Dark Techno, der unter die Haut geht.
