TIB-Cast // New Music every second friday from all over the world...

The history of Techno is not a very long one yet, but it lasts over a few generations back until today. This week, a man from the early years of techno joined us to present an old school vinyl only mix for the Techno Is Beautiful podcast #33.
 
Eloy Tronic lived in Bremen and moved to Trier in 1994 where everything started. He got in touch with many fashion designers who organized private parties and motto events. Working in a record store daytime and in two clubs at night has developed into organizing own successful events and travelling as DJ though Germany.
 
Eloys most favourite clubs were DorianGray, OMEN, Tresor, Aufschwung-Ost-Stammheim-Kassel, and he played at the Palais, Dakota, VenusBar, EMpyer, and at the Loveparade 96 as well.
 
Those days were vinyl days, please welcome Eloy Tronic for a vinyl only techno podcast from the sound roots of techno history.

Summer officially started this week and we are happy to have Diva!noize here for Techno Is Beautiful Podcast #34. Funky Diva aka diva noize stands for funky house, tech house and straight techno. She has been playing in different clubs and festivals, like the Kiezinternat Hamburg, Domhof Köln, Butan Club Wuppertal, Airbeat One Festival MS Stubnitz at see - and shared decks with Nico Pusch, Hanne + Lore, Frank Kvitta, Angy Kore und Felix Kröcher. 
 
After winning two remix contests she got started as producer as well which lead her to  establish her own label “Social Beats Project” and is one of the founders of the succesful event series “Chiacs Electronicas” that takes place regularly in Oldenbrugs beautiful and known location “Polyester”

Welcome to Techno Is Beautiful podcast with Rich Vom Dorf who has been active in Hamburg and the rest of the republic since many years as Dj, Event manager, producer, label manager and other stuff. Currently he is with the “KIDDAZ” agency in Berlin and his own baby “TÄCHNO” here in Hamburg. He works a lot with is bro Enzo Siffredi from Brighton - keep an eye on them there will be some collaborations very soon.

Rich releases his own productions on Acker, Ton Liebt Klang, Kalias, Rennbahn, Tach&Nacht and more.

TIB CAST #35 // Happy Housy Summer // Rich Vom Dorf

This fortnights podcast we’ll introduce to you SASHKA WOLFF from Hamburg. Being a long-life musician he started DJing in 1996 , became part of the engineering crew of the famous music project U-96 and had his first releases under different names in Techno and House Music, worldwide. In 2002 SASHKA finished his Audio Engineering and Acoustic studies in Hamburg and graduated with Master of fine Arts at the NY-University (USA).
Alexander Wolff - that is his real name by the way - was producer and ghostwriter for a lot of remixes of world-famous artists like Chrystal Waters, Geo Da Silva and even Phil Collins. 10 years of work with his former partner L. Zimmermann lead to position own songs and productions into the Top 10 Dance and Billboard Charts, across Europe and UK. SAHSKA WOLFF therefore is a quite new project in Deep Techno Music in all kinds of colours.

Welcome to Felix Louka aka FLOUKA. His musical career starts in Leipzig where he discovered electronic music after playing for a long time. His love to the music we all appreciate lead him to first gear and gigs and finally to Hamburg, where he says, he perfected his style ranging between Tech House and Techno with melodic journeys in between.

His time in Hamburg also lead to gigs in the known club “Docks” and Open Airs like “Techno ist grün” - as well as to his own nightlife magazine and podcast “Hamburger Nächte” (Links to this are in the describtion) to give some love and respect back to the community. ‘Hamburger Nächte” features known and unknown local DJs and Producers.

TIB CAST #38 // Land Of Confusion // FLOUKA

It was a memorable night, way back then in the 90ies, cult label Strictly Rhythm put on a big show at the Docks (Reeperbahn Hamburg) and inspired Mumbai (India) born birkenlauber to start his deejaying career. Driven by his idols, such as Armand van Helden, David Morales, Frankie Knuckles and more, he developed a huge love for house music. Nevertheless deejaying stayed a hobby as his career as a copy writer was the focus.
					
Since 2012 he’s back to more deejaying again. Also his sound has advanced and moved on – these days birkenlauber’s sets are a skillful mix of pounding deep house, melodic tech house and straight techno, ranging from 118 to 130 bpm.
					
Making remixes for numerous other artists he also made himself a name as a talented producer. Under the name of MOB MOB on British label Kingdom Kome Cuts his first EP was distributed in 2014. Further releases followed on Audio Safari and Clublands Records, for example. This October sees his latest tech house tracks ”Dope“ and ”Lullaby“ released on Amber Recordings.

The Hamburg Dj and producer started his life changing career in 2013. After getting to know more mainstream like tunes he discovered passion for extensive and darker sounds - which at the end defined his style. Since 3 years he successfully hosts the radio show DEEP CLUB NIGHTS on 54house.fm with special guests from all over the world twice a month: every 2. and 4. wednesday. His very very first release will be a remix for  CUMA with the titel “ISOLATED”strong recordings records” coming out in april.

A few days ago a project launched that he and his partner Lazaro Marquess brought into life: a community called “Harbour Beats” Hamburg Clubbers , Dj´s, Labels, Producers lovers of electronic dance music.

SHOSN can be heard live the next time in May, the 5. may  - in the debut event “Harbour beats” the the “Hamburger Kasematten”.

in 2012 he started to get involved with event management to play at his own parties. First musical decisions were HipHop and Dancehall. A few years later in that scene, he stepped into electronic music with friends and organized the well known “Mein Name Ist Hase Open Airs” in 2015 until today.

His clubbing career behind the decks started in 2016: Waagenbau, Fundbureau, Docks and Pooca bar. His next Gig is tomorrow, 31.march in WAAGENBAU at “Mein Name Ist Hase im Bau - Osterrave”.

Whoever wants to pursue and fulfill one's dreams, needs to wake up, needs to be woken. Tonight I’ll introduce you to a successful young dj and event manager WOKEN. His awareness of his passion drove him from Itzehoe to Hamburg in 2016, where he organised his first Open Airs together with the known collective “NIMMERSATTE BEATZ” and had his first club set on the Hamburg floating event location “MS STUBNITZ”. Shortly after that he played for the collective “Sommer unter Freunden” in the club Fundbureau followed by open airs 2017 from Nova Silva, Klang und Liebe and United Escape. 

His dedication led to residency in Hamburg oldest techno club Purtagory at the event series “Böse Bässe”. Since March 2018 he hosts an after-work-event with chilled house grooves in the Beat Boutique every wednesday. 

Since April, Woken is part of the Techno Is Beautiful DJ-collective which is one of the things, we really want to celebrate with all of you. Upcoming Saturday 21. April, Woken, Plattenbote, Max Rude and Plan A are playing the big floor at Waagenbau, you know, function one, awesome atmosphere, awesome people, this is going to be insane!

Welcome to the Techno Is Beautiful Podcast #45 with Plan A.
Adrian grew up in Hamburg, and was allowed to dig through the 
Beatles and Elvis Presley records of his father as a small child.
when his older brother was away, he used to sit in his room and listen to old school rap tapes or Michael Jackson and just fade away with his eyes closed, sinkin in very deeply. 

He was always encouraged to look at things from very different perspectives. Thy  used to have a  certain appreciation for things that are strange or unusual.

When he was 16, he got his first pair of DJ Turntables. From there on, 
DJing became an integral part of his activities. Nowadays he works in 
professional broadcast and studio installations. When he learned to know Plattenbote in their common studies, Media Technology, he quickly joined Techno Is Beautiful both as a technician and artist adding a beautiful vibe to the team. Plan A has played in various Locations including Waagenbau and the ice skate arena in Hamburg .

/ Daniel Schieber originates from the far north east of Germany (Ribnitz-Damgarten and Grevesmühlen) and is part of the known TÄCHNO collective in Hamburg where he lives and plays. His sound is straight and hard but never boring and always perfectly danceable.
Daniel travelled and toured some years through the european club scene where he devoloped a solid musical background and found his second home behind the decks.
His favourite clubs are the Hamburg Fundbureau, Übel & Geführlich and the former Magdalena in Berlin.
One thing he said, let me quote this “Every time that I may play a closing in Fundbureau, it is unforgettable.  The People are super thankful and never find an ending”

The music project HOODZZ was found by Nicklas in Hamburg. The name originates from one of his favourite movies ROBIN HOOD - who obviously was hunting the bad beats and giving them to the raving community - making his sets vigorous and rich in varietty

His goal from the first glimpse of his career was to stand on the podium of the club and giving the people the right vibrations so they would smile and laught and dance with no end in sight.

Everything began in his youth, getting his fitst turntables with 15 and devoloping skills, searching for music and getting inspired espacially by Oliver Schories, Mark Knight, Bebetta, Worakls, NT ́O, Joachim Pastor und Stereoclip

REMIND is a 19 years old music producer based in the French city Colmar. He was always a huge fan of cinematic music which helped to set the tone of his musical universe.

His first EP is recently with the label "Krafted Underground" and there is also a second one coming in May.

"I actually never had a gig myself as I'm more into the producing part at now. I've been electronic making music since I was around 13 years old. It was actually my 2ND time behind the decks and I had a blast recording it, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I even played a few unreleased tracks of mine, so I'm excited to look at the reactions. I can't wait to do more podcasts because that's kind of my goal, to create a musical journey.I guess I can say that I felt excited and humbled while making the mix."
