Rising US producer HARDEN is back on August 29th with new single Fugazi.

Following the breakout success of his debut EP, which hit #1 on Beatport’s Indie Dance Chart and placed all three tracks in the Indie Dance Singles Chart, HARDEN has quickly established himself as a name to watch. As a DJ, HARDEN has played at sold-out shows across Miami, Denver, and Las Vegas, and at home in Denver is developing a world-class studio and artist hub in the city’s vibrant RiNo Arts District.

He is the founder of Casa Alta, a label and event brand known for turning untapped spaces and historic venues into riotous, sold-out parties from immersive installations to warehouse takeovers. He is also a partner in Phase 3 who co-produced a standout week of shows during Miami Music Week, hosting the likes of Chris Lake, Gorgon City, MoBlack, Skepta, and Francis Mercier at the now-iconic Toejam Backlot.

A mid-tempo roller that simmers with cinematic tension, ‘Fugazi’ blends textured sound design and deep, rolling percussion with eerie hooks and gritty synth motifs. The result is a mid-tempo roller that simmers with cinematic tension and fuses haunting melody with club-ready power.

This week we connect with producer / composer Adrian Young for a masterclass in focus and discipline.

Adrian is perhaps best known for his collaborations with Ali Shaheed Muhammad on the music for Marvel's Luke Cage as well as the Jazz Is Dead series featuring Jazz greats including Roy Ayres. But his list of credits is long and diverse, including film scores (Black Dynamite) and collaborators including Kendrick Lamar, Fat Joe, Lloyd Banks, DJ Shadow, Schoolboy Q, Gallant, Wu-Tang Clan, and more and more.

He teaches us a bit about how he's developed that disciplined approach to getting shit done, and why having a law degree makes sense for a creative.
