For Pan-Pot's second release on their new imprint they fall nothing short of what you would expect from the infamous duo. 

"Grey Matter" is a stormer made especially for the intense peak time strobe lights of a dark sweaty club. The pulsing stabs and swelling bass in combination with the rolling hi-hats and shakers keep the energy flowing upward. 
Don't let the word grey in the title fool you, this track is more a burning red. Just like the deep ominous vocal says, "We're burning"!

On the flip side is "Substance“ and with this one, Pan-Pot showcase their vast knowledge of what tension can do on the dance floor. From beginning to end, it teases with builds that never quite go over the edge. Constantly increasing, it creates the desire for just a little more while never giving you the satisfaction of a resolution. 

It's a concept that only masters can make work and when it does, it's nothing short of brilliant.

Returning to Saved Records for the first time since 2013, Berlin based soundwizard Santé delivers a quality two-track EP of subterranean, bass-driven techno.

“Ghostwriter” is a highly hypnotic, heady and underground tech cut drives with a relentless energy. Build around a stabbing bassline, pounding 4/4s and fluttering synths, the track locks into a magnetizing groove. As the track evolves, the German producer eases in some fuzzy, warm electronics and lush pads, creating a subtle interplay with the intense, druggy layers that lay beneath.

“Stay” is underpinned by a devastatingly simple yet hugely addictive rolling bassline. As the bass grumbles below, punchy beats plough forward alongside loopy FX and soulful vocals. Stripped back at times but showing a matured proclivity for shifting through the gears, the track builds tension without ever spilling over into chaos.

Part III in Kevin Over's unique Retrovision series on Noir Music is ready to be blasted out on club-systems around the globe. After releases on Truesoul and Mobilee our little golden-bird return to homebase for yet another incredible EP. Most people already familiar with Kevin's unique music are in love and big supporters and we can assure you that this 3rd edition of Retrovision is no disapointment to the collection. The 2 openers LY and Bollwerk are a little more techno influenced than most of Kevin's previous stuff. Its still the oldschool, warm and groovy techno inspired by the 80s and 90s Detroit and Chicago underground so it won't scare away the house-lovers. Virginia and Past Hype are closer to Kevin's previous releases on Noir Music and leans more towards the deeper side of tech-house with cheeky samples, cut-up grooves and melodies...... The way he has spoiled our ears and won our hearts in the past. Overall another flawless EP from Kevin Over that will have people divided in what track is the actual A-side and best track among the 4 pearls.

Hungry Music has the kind of waterproof musical aesthetic that not many labels with under twenty releases under their belt have. The output is bold and atmospheric at same time. Afterdark is a late night rolling tech giant, relentless in its pulsating rawness, smashing you over the head with cutting hats and synth lines that are raspy AF. NYC’s finest Greco rips this one apart and sticks it back together with some 70’s New York disco glamour and late 80’s scratchiness.
