JAPAU has found his way into our playlist in early 2021 by leaving a cheeky comment on a WNDRLST set. Since then, he has dominated our playlist, and his mad sets have given structure to our long workdays. He was the first artist we heard that managed 150 bpm or more without sounding like a lunatic at the peak of his amphetamine binge. His label PA•RA•DO•XON 030, was one of the first we reached out to, and we are thrilled that he has agreed to contribute to our project. He will be part of the first event in a series that we have planned. We would also like to thank him for always being there for us when we have technical questions, treating us with kindness, and embracing our madness. TLP101 is brought to you by @roan-sound , a Spanish born, Amsterdam based up and coming DJ.  Raver since a very young age, Røån developed an unconditional love for the techno scene.   Such love started to grow and evolve into his interest for learning the art of mixing. His ever evolving sets are based in high energy, fast bpms, acid, groove and industrial sounds, heavily influenced by the Dutch and Berlin scene, taking the listener on a journey through his experiences and his vast music library every time he goes to work.  He is starting to make his way through the Amsterdam techno scene playing in raves, smaller clubs and intimate venues like John Doe, 8sixA, Amsterdam Most Wanted Radion Station, Sexyland and many more, as well as with a lot of interesting projects, collaborations, sets and productions coming for the future. Up this week on our FWP Series is TOLAX, the  co-founder & owner of Fremd Kollektiv.

Across the deserts of Tunisia, to Germany his love for sound knows no bounds. His unique ear for sounds was carefully developed during the long hours spent working in a local music store. He is now known to explore a wide array of styles. By the end of the 2000’S after organizing some successful open air and secret parties, he began experimental mixing with select electronic music tracks.

Building a strong foundation from his previous industry experience, he  has since developed a solid career as a DJ & producer improving his technical skills across a variety of with equipment. TOLAX is still deeply involved in the alternative scene of Tunisia & Germany primarily as a DJ, but also a host, stage tech, sound, and light festivals and raves working alongside the likes of Richie Hawtin.

Inspired by artists such as Dax J , Paula Temple, P.E.A.R.L, and Perc; he took steps towards carving his own unique blend of dark, hard techno from the heart of the techno scene in Germany and has since appeared in the notorious HÖR bathroom.
