Revamped Jungle Classics Mix 2014 {Free Download}

This is the first time we have exposed a brand new and exclusive remix, for underground trap and gritty bass orientated London artists Pheeetus & Bobby Solo. Our goal was to put a new angle on the original, bringing Back to the Lane into the drum and bass domain, whilst retaining the dark uncertainty that Pheeetus & Bobby Solo deliver in their own aphotic original composition. The result is a progressively dark DnB remix of a journey though the deep depths of drug culture, reflected in the vocal content along with the creepy haunting sounds and effects littered within the track.

Black Sun Empire represents the finest in dark and tech fuelled dance-floor drum & bass. Since bursting onto the scene back in 2000, they've continued to develop their own unique style and sound, releasing numerous singles as well as five full-length LPs and establishing themselves as leaders in the field. With their impressive DJ skills and inspirational productions, Black Sun Empire has reached far beyond their native Holland. They've toured around the world, with highlights including Glastonbury and numerous other festival appearances, and continue to build on their growing reputation as some of the most exciting and consistent performers in the scene.

From their base in Utrecht, Holland, the Black Sun Empire trio have truly gone global, taking their own brand of high-octane techno-infused drum & bass to audiences worldwide, with over 100 appearances at live stages and clubs in the last year alone.

Their own club night, Blackout, celebrated it's ninth year anniversary in February 2012 and has seen guest appearances from some of the very best artists in drum & bass and dubstep including Goldie, Dom & Roland, Klute, Optical, Spor, Nero, and Bar 9. In 2011 and now onto 2012, Blackout goes on tour with guests and related artists from their three labels (BSE Recordings, oBSEsessions, Shadows of the Empire) and now has a highly successful residency in London at Cable.

A quick glance at the recent stream of premium quality drum and bass coming from Digital and the imprint he started with Brillo back in 1995: Function Records, shows a testament to his timelessness in this music. 2015 brought us the enormous return of Function Records for it’s 20th year in the business, sporting releases such as: ‘Respek Da Foundation’ featuring Dub Phizix’s brutal rewiring of Digital’s classic ‘Deadline’, collaborations with Response and Drumsound Bassline Smith, and the debut EP from the newly formed trio of Digital, Flava and Horrific James who come together as Trident Code. Digital himself has been prolifically producing for the past 20 years and has developed a back catalogue that rivals any producer in the drum and bass scene past or present. That's why the news of of the release of lots of his back catalogue on Bandcamp and functionrecords.co.uk has got us massively hyped up here at In-Reach. Digital kicks off next week with release of the mighty Dubzilla Album.

To celebrate this release, Digital has laid down an absolutely outrageous guest mix with some dubbed out mixing, heaps of classics and some unreleased tracks that take us through his past 15 years of production. Check below for some absolute Fire!

For the 20th Samurai Red Seal 12" we will welcome the grand master of breakbeats for his debut with Samurai Red Seal. 

Paradox now appears rarely outside his own labels so we are honoured to have him as a special guest on Samurai Red Seal. 

Paradox was an artist we were pursuing for some time, and to say we were pleased with the resulting 12" is an understatement of the highest order. 

'Scorpius' / 'Crate Logic' is released on 25.02 on 12" and digital with a limited VIP Marbled Vinyl edition of 100. All vinyl versions come housed in a full artwork dedicated sleeve designed around the ethos and theme of the 12", reflecting the dusty crate groove and highlighting the lost artform of 'crate digging' in modern DnB. 

But for now, please enjoy a very special edition of the Samurai Music podcast from one of the most influential figures in the history of Drum and Bass / Jungle as he takes you on a narrated tour through both old and new music and drops some breakbeat knowledge at the same time.

BTK Needs no.Introduction. We all know his works on Labels: Virus, Renegade Hardware, Shogun Audio, Playaz, Subtitles, Redlight and his own Label Dutty Audio and endless Club Anthems with Optiv.

Many may ask "Whats the connection with BTK & Deception?
The Answer is BTK helped to shape the label into the sound it is Today. 
In 2008 he Teamed up with Manifest on a track entitled "Infected World" which bought alot of attention to the Label worldwide.  The boys also tested out the 1st "Deception Recordings Night" in Ulm, Germany 2009, which was in conjunction with Soulfire Promotions. The Event was a success and had 800 heads respectively.
