ARTIST’S BIO:
Nina (DJ alias иιиιт'α), who is self-taught, came of age in the male-dominated early 90's rave scene, has been heavily influenced by the deeper sounds of techno, atmospheric, and most things unconventional. Nina, who views the art of mixing as a spiritual practice that seeks to "balance relationship to mind and body, "prefers private parties to clubs/bars where the dancing is louder than the conversation. She seeks to "reinvent the club scene to promote listening and dancing through connection and awareness rather than an unconscious escape." Her sets lean in the direction of hypnotic, telling the story of the moment, often with a dark and moody undertone that reveal splashes of light and space to feel. A life-long dancer, Nina views music as a portal into a web that connects her to everything.

On the 6th of November, I had the pleasure, after more than two years, to play the terrace of the fabulous Space club in Miami again. I feel playing at Space, especially into the early morning hours requires a little different type of setlist, and even more so when the sun starts to come up. So I specially prepared a "terrace" set and included some of my all-time faves in combination with new great things. Hiroko Yamamura opened with a beautifully flowing selection and set the mood for the whole night and morning. I started at 4am and ended up playing for 5h which was so much fun, especially dropping some of my all-time classics again, something I didn't do for a while. Well you can listen to the whole thing now and make your own verdict. Hope you enjoy. Oh and by the way, some news you deserve to know as you have been reading so far :). Since I restarted my CLR label this year, I decided that I will bring back the CLR Podcast once a month with a special DJ set by the artists who release on the label. It will be under the roof of AMFM, so you don't need to do anything, but stay tuned and you will automatically hear the "AMFM CLR Special Podcast Edition" right here at the same spot. Revelation Of Sound is pleased to present Mary Yuzovskaya. By way of NYC, Berlin and before that Moscow, vinyl only techno DJ, producer and record label owner Mary Yuzovskaya has been cultivating her unique orbit in the electronic dance music firmament for over 13 years.

Having graced the decks of all Moscow’s hotspots back in the mid-2000s, Mary moved to Berlin, where she quickly became recognised for both her blisteringly-precise vinyl-only techno sets and her painstakingly professional approach to the craft of DJing. Based in New York City since 2013, Mary currently holds a residency at Public Records and solely runs her very own record label called Monday Off, launched in 2017, where she curates and presses work from artists that explore techno's trippier, more hypnotic side. After relocating to the US, Mary quickly became a key figure in its scene, performing regularly at different venues including multiple residencies at some of the city’s institutional parties like Unter, where she was a staple for three years, as well as working as a vinyl distribution manager at renowned Brooklyn-based record shop Halcyon.

Mary has been fortunate enough to share the decks with many talented and internationally recognised musicians such as Blazej Malinowski, Claudio PRC, Dino Sabatini, Edit Select, Ness, Xhin, and many others. She has been busily traveling the world and performing her unique take on techno music’s deeper vibes at many noted clubs and parties across the world, including ://about blank, Basement, Compound (LA), Distillery (Leipzig), OHM, Output (Brooklyn), Propaganda (Moscow), and Tresor, to name only a few.

Westbam remains one of Germany's most successful and popular DJs and avantgardists of the Raving Society. A DJ culture pioneer, media personality, writer, author of international club anthems, nr.1 hits and dancefloor classics („Celebration Generation“, "Sonic Empire", "Beatbox Rocker") - to put it shortly: a living legend!

He was the first DJ in Germany who, in 1983, started really mixing records, setting standards for the DJ techniques we know today. Having played in every great club and festival as well as the world's biggest events such as the Olympics (in Seoul in 1988), Westbam also took part in every single Love Parade edition from the very beginning.
