Brooklyn-based DJ ciringe [pronounced syringe] drops in from New York this week with a witchy mix, evoking the atmosphere of a foggy forest rave via hypnotic melodies, punishing drums and swirly rhythms. Having played across Brooklyn in spaces like Nowadays, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Moodring, Market Hotel, Elsewhere, Trans-Pecos, and The End, they've also taken their sound to Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Boston, and Berlin. Catch ciringe's monthly show "injection" on Hong Kong Community Radio (HKCR), highlighting queer, trans, and BIPOC artists, showcasing a far-flung selection of genres.

Like Blue Hour's sound as an artist, it's impossible to classify the label's discography into a single category or genre. The two-part Omni compilations ebb and flow between hazy atmospheres and tougher, live-wire textures, colluding into a multi-coloured trip that encapsulates the lush world of Blue Hour Music.
