Switching between different electronic genres, and combining those, he gained a more developed and diverse perspective on mixing.

TM8 Q: What is your fave gig of the year and why?
A: "We were lucky to get invited to play to a lot of cute parties last summer, but if we had to pick a favourite gig I think it would be Las Tettas, an event that we co-organised with friends, to raise funds for different queer organisations. So many cuties turned up - we played at peak time, the sun was shining and the energy on the dancefloor was caliente 🔥"

Dynamic duo MDSM aka Sophy and Marine kick our first podcast of the year with an hour-long session of chuggers and mind-swirlers. Usually, the Berlin-based power-pair chop and change between chilling textures, peak-time rollers and spirited trance and on this occasion, @mdsm_certified take us through a swampy underworld of twinkling rhythms and dark-tinted melodies.

@falsewitness aka Marco Gomez got their start in electronic music immediately upon a move from Boston, MA to New York City in 2014. Their formative years here were spent embracing the emerging Brooklyn approach to queer nightlife, Techno, and contemporary art. 

It wasn't long before their music caught on, leading to appearances at Frieze London, MoMA PS1's Warm Up, and a DJ residency with infamous club night GHE20G0TH1K. He would continue to hone his sound inside other major New York techno destinations like Bossa Nova Civic Club, The Spectrum, and Unter. 
By 2019, Gomez took off to Berlin, diving directly into various sections of the city's queer scene. Their production and performance sound has been deeply influenced by the move, incorporating elements from Synthwave, Italo, and EBM into their sonic palette. 

Today, they are an official resident at Renate Berlin, hosting their own queer event "Back Alley Sally's" alongside fellow resident S.Ruston and Berlin nightlife darling Nellee Dii. They are also a close associate with E-Missions Recordings, a New York City based label helmed by P.Leone.

Raised in the Jazz music mileu, Peahlyfe cut the cord and transmorphed into a Hydra-sonic electronic musician that shook&seduced the Copenhagen fast-paced techno scene, claiming their seat along with the honorable Fast Forward gang. 

Peachlyfe’s productions and live-sets rebelliously weave across genres, trippy melodies cut with heavy slaps while slithering whispers in your ear sowing the dismantlement of the ‘cistem’. Their previous EP “All Tits are Real, All Money is Fake, All Hail Satan” is an ode to that anarchic-playfulness, a marvellous feat in blending rave-rush joy and queer defiance.

 For this Crystal Series, Peachlyfe carries all the longing for a dancefloor and threads a slow-burn moody trip. First, they set our mind on a loopy trance, bassy, steady, time-stretching rising steps. The mind inflammation then takes our limbs. Amidst this puppetry, with a sly-sudden release of the straps, Peachlyfe generates euphoria and unruly movements. Where did this smile on our faces come from? All of a sudden we are dancing.

Incoming @lockhartsj – club-kid turned techno upstart with a penchant for all sounds dark and destructive. Her involvement in London's underground dance music community sparked her love affair with the decks. Lockhart’s swift mixing style showcases her artillery of blistering club tracks, brutalising techno and trance-informed melodies.

Recently she began to co-curate the bi-monthly radio show Legion on Threads Radio. The project presents a platform for queer artists and provides a broader playground for her musical experiments and exploration.
