The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere Sadan’s upcoming release: a 4 tracks EP by Colombian producer Aeondelit (Sergio Cortés). "Anima Minima" (SDN009) carries a spiritual atmosphere alongside club music arrangements, complex sound design, and lush synth work.

"Cuerpo Exanima" reprises the choir sampling of "Anima Minima" with a detailed and hypnotic drums work, topped with a futuristic rhythmic sound effects.

TM8 Q: How did you go about putting this mix together?
A: "This is my first mix after a 7 week break and I really wanted to test out new sounds that I feel connected to. I’m really vibing with tracks that are layered, with lots of different elements. I feel like this mix is one of many reasons why I love electronic music"

Riva is a London-based DJ, producer, promoter, and core member of the @daytimers_uk collective. Popping off on multiple platforms at the moment, from @hoerberlin Radio, @rinsefm, @mannidee's Silk + Steel party, and now, our very own TM8 #26, Riva will also join us at our upcoming summer party. Combining her background in classical music and jazz, her Middle Eastern heritage, and her life experiences living in Hong Kong and South Africa, Riva composes stories through her music and DJ sets and firmly follows a genre-free sound. For our 26th mix, Riva pens a twisted tale of ethereal beats, booty boppin' basslines and crystalline vocals.

Ostbam started DJing thanks to a workshop in 2015, shortly after she moved from Poland to Dresden. Growing up in Gdańsk had a huge influence on her current style, which is a mixture of industrial, acid and hard techno, often varied with oldschool hardcore, gabber or even happy hardcore. Shortly after the workshop, Ostbam and few other people have started ProZecco - a feminist DJ collective focusing on workshops and supporting young and unknown FINTA* DJs in Saxony. Around 2017 she moved to Leipzig and slowly established her style while performing in various clubs across Germany (f.i. ://about blank, Institutfuer Zukunft, objekt klein a, Mensch Meier). Ostbam also had her first undocumented Boiler Room appereance during the HARD DANCE tour back in 2020. Due to pandemic she has focused more on exploring different genres and perceptions of music by launching her and Crline’s label called UNUSUAL SUSPECTS, and highlighting harsher music styles such as breakcore or even black metal on her bi-monthly radio show called CROSSING BORDERS on hallo:radio.
