A gift from us to you. ☆  For our final mix of 2023, we’re kicking off our TM8 Live series, where we share a selection of recorded sets from our events. First up, we’ve got a propulsive session from Radical Softness (@radicalsoftness). The Berlin-based DJ played for us in July and rallied the walls of Unit 58, taking us on an emotional ride through groovy, classic techno up to more modern, industrial tones. A resident of @rawmantique collective, they’re a regular fixture on the Berlin scene, so it felt extra special to have Radical Softness debut in London with us last summer.

Melati (@melati3000) recorded live at our party in March. ‹𝟹 The Das Booty and Floorless festival resident brought us through to the early hours, closing the dancefloor in her Melati-esque way; fast, fun and giving it every ounce of energy. In her seemingly unidentifiable track selections and quick, neat mixing, the London-based DJ ups the tempo and mood across the final hour, doling out glittery trance and brash techno 'til the end. This was a special one for us. Beautifully mixed and full of emotional and evocative melodies, HORNS almost moved us to tears, soundtracking sunrise in their own inimitable way & making TM8's first appearance at the club an unforgettable one.

In recent years, both artists have joined our ever-growing tm8 family by contributing to our mix series and releasing on our record label, so it was an extra special moment for us to book PAX and cunt remember and witness their b2b IRL.

Throwback to @britneyspeed closing @rso_berlin for our debut event in the German capital last summer. The Denmark-based producer and DJ blessed the floor with an all-vinyl closing set, gliding through bouncy techno, squishy acid, vintage trance and lots more. Take us back ! (◕ᴗ◕✿)♡

Recorded live from FOLD and now added to our archives, the sub:system resident took us from a cerebral intro right through to a kaleidoscopic closer for the final hours of the night. Shaped by swirling melodies, glorious basslines, and effusive energy. Wednesday’s mix is an ideal mid-week pick-me-up. ♬⋆.˚

Revisiting Nina Pixina's (@ninapixina) cerebral opening set for our party in November at FOLD. The Transylvanian, London-based artist warmed up the space with hypnotic moods, shapeshifting  melodies and the more shadowy elements of techno; a perfect start to the night.

Nina has been a TM8 regular since we started out, and we've watched their journey as a DJ evolve over the years. We were so happy to invite Nina to play for us and enjoy their presence and energy from the DJ booth rather than the dancefloor.

Listen back to S3BA’s (@s_e_ba) set, recorded live from our last event at FOLD. The trans*disciplinary musician, artist, co-parent of MYTO and resident DJ for the Makaan record label and community played a beautiful set for us, shaped by spiralling melodies, wavey basslines and plenty of playful touches throughout.

Sevyn0000’s (@sevyn0000) set from our FOLD event in May is now available to listen back to in full. The New York-based producer and DJ shared a textured set with us that night, layered with psychedelic rhythms, spacious sound design and crunchy percussion. From the glitchy intro to the shadowy final track, we were hooked.
