Placiid is no stranger to T&NE RECORDS. 

He was one of the first to sign on one of our T&NE Records compilations and on several occasions but this time, he comes back home with a freshly produced EP. 

This EP is centered around several genres. Of course, the heart of the EP is a minimalist techno combining groove, tribal and essences of an old school techno from across the Atlantic, brought by Underground Resistance in particular. The snare drums present on the different tracks sound like an 808 from the time, a real delight.

Passionate DJ and producer, Placiid electrifies the Techno scene with boundless energy.

In 2023, he released several singles that propelled him into the spotlight, amassing tens of thousands of streams and earning the support of numerous artists. His rise continued in 2024 with the release of an album, multiple remixes, and more than 30 performances throughout the year. His productions have been regularly played at legendary venues across Europe and recently in Argentina and Colombia. 

On stage, his performances stand out for their immersive nature, thanks to meticulously curated and refined selections delivered with effortless skill.

2025 is a promising year for him, with numerous releases planned throughout the year and an increasing number of performances.

T&NE RECORDS was created in February 2019 by Matthieu Rose aka MTRZ. 
MTRZ then opened the doors of his label to other artists in 2022, such as AKZ & Tony Miler by transforming the label into a non-profit association. Each of them takes care of different things, in different areas to keep T&NE alive. In September 2024, new challenge with the creation of a “Premiere” service. 
At the beginning of 2025, we will start the year with our first evening at the Ostra, in Nancy.
