Apocalypse Nao est une conception hybride issue d’un ouragan et d’une tornade. Ses mixes irradient d’une énergie qui engendre des effets secondaires peu habituels, en provoquant des envies irrépressibles de head-banger et des crises contagieuses de lip-sync, tout en faisant fondre les cœurs.
Après son apparition, le GIEC, inquiet, commentait : “on constate que depuis son arrivée derrière le booth la température ne cesse d’augmenter de façon préoccupante, c’est donc une figure que nous surveillons attentivement”.

Future-Bass.Mukke presents Apocalypse Nao. She is a hybrid figure that emerged from a hurricane and a tornado. After her discovery, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change commented: 

Since she suddenly appeared behind the stand, the temperature has risen alarmingly, so she is a figure we are watching closely. Her playful, eclectic style, more effective than a dopamine injection, has been known to produce unusual side effects: beware of frenetic headbanging, infectious lip-syncing and irresistible heart-melting all at the same time!

Pour ce 113ème Technopol Mix, c’est @franssouax qui prend les platines et nous livre un set puissant et imprévisible, fidèle à son style hybride. Oscillant entre brazilian funk, raptor house signée DJBaba, sonorités bass et latin progressive, il propose une heure d’énergie brute, taillée pour le club.
Franssouax a fondé @menaceprogressive : le collectif qui fait vibrer les nuits parisiennes et les ondes de Rinse France, en programmant des artistes porté·es par une expérimentation radicale des scènes club underground, dans la continuité de l’identité musicale qu’il défend lui-même.
Fortement inspiré par la queer culture et des collectifs comme NAAFI ou GHE20G0TH1K, il brouille volontairement les frontières des genres pour proposer des sets où la surprise est constante et où l’énergie du dancefloor se conjugue à une vision inclusive et libératrice de la fête.

Technopol Mix 113 | Franssouax

Acidusa propose des performances où la mythologie rencontre l’électronique. Porté par une identité queer affirmée, le duo déploie sur scène une énergie inépuisable en mêlant percussions électroniques, chant et sélection musicale affûtée. Leur DJ sets deviennent des voyages hybrides, de véritables rituels de métamorphose qui résonnent comme les cris des Gorgones. Techno, Acid et Trance y dialoguent avec les sonorités méditerranéennes, tissant une expérience aussi intense que libératrice.

DJ et diggeuse lilloise, Flash Saba puise son inspiration dans l’univers des jeux vidéo qui ont bercé son enfance. De cette passion est née une sensibilité particulière pour les sonorités électroniques, mêlant techno, électro, IDM et touches acid pour façonner des sets hypnotiques et empreints de nostalgie.
Pour le Technopol Mix 116, elle nous transporte dans un voyage sonore profond, mental et surtout progressif, qui prend en intensité à travers sa sélection minutieusement creusée pour nous emmener vers un ailleurs plus introspectif. Également membre et résidente du collectif Laisse Tomber Les Filles, Flash Saba défend une scène plus inclusive et représentative des artistes FLINTA derrière les platines, tout en continuant à affirmer une identité musicale singulière et sincère.

Membre des collectifs @heresy404 (collectif artistique), @collectifmisssing (collectif de mise en valeur des musiques faites par les femmes et minorités de genre) et @etherealtempo (collectif et label). Originaire de Perpignan, xea nous vient tout droit des teufs du sud aux sonorités acid. En se perdant dans les clubs parisiens, xea a su développer un style unique qui mélange avec fougue, techno, trance et bass.

Le duo Mana Function prend les rênes du 117e Technopol Mix. Aussi bien DJ que producteur·rices, Marie et Maxime ont formé leur duo il y a un peu plus d’un an et explorent une musique sans frontières, à la croisée de la trance, de la techno et du hardgroove. 
Leur set pour Technopol illustre parfaitement cette énergie : un voyage rythmé par des sonorités UK, des touches de speed garage, une techno bouncy et une trance vive et entraînante. Une sélection de 19 producteur·rices, dont plusieurs unreleased, qui capture l’esprit du duo : curieux, libre et toujours tourné vers le dancefloor.

If you sail down the White Nile for long enough, say a few thousand miles from the Mediterranean coast, you will eventually float into the banks of the Blue Nile at Khartoum, the capital of Sudan.

It’s not just rivers that meet here - Khartoum is one of the most diverse music capitals in the world, with it’s melting of Sufish spirituality, traditional Arabic and Islamic vocal, Sub-Saharan percussion, and Nubian rhythyms. The music coming out of Sudan in the the early 80’s was explosive, lavish, rich with joy. Known to Sudan as the ‘swinging city’, Khartoum showcased Sudanese music as a drawing together of post-colonial Africa and the Middle East. 
Come 1986, a political and religious coup overthrew the government and both music and musicians were targeted. Extremely strict laws and political turmoil resulted in musicians being persecuted and imprisoned. Many attempted to flee the country, or else have their voices silenced completely. Some artist’s continued to write from prison. Others fled yet continued to send songs for revolution from the outside. Some artists had all their tapes destroyed by the government; instruments were confiscated; music ceremonies were interrupted by military.

The destruction of records and cassette tapes was a way for the government to make space for propaganda. In the backlash, artists began combining dialects and genres from multiple different regions in order to overcome government restrictions and mask the meaning of their otherwise provocative music.

The people of Sudan will continue to fight for their freedom of expression. 2005 marked a seminal point in the country’s music history, where South Sudanese performer Emmanual Jal released a collaboration album, ‘ceasefire’ with Abdel Gadir Salim from North Sudan. Emmanual, who fled to kenya following civil unrest, made an incredible stand in working with an artist on the opposing side of conflict with only one agenda in mind; peace.

While some artists have given up music as a result of the illicit and dogmatic connotations it now holds, others continue to perform and spread hope through their practice.

We are here to celebrate 21 years of Relentless Records. To mark this special occasion, I’ve put together a one hour mix showcasing tracks released on Relentless over the past 2 decades, from chart topping artists such as Daniel Bedingfield, Craig David, Ms Dynamite, Lethal B, So Solid Crew and Kristine Blond as the tracks from these artists helped to pave the way for UK Garage to the hit mainstream. I will also be including Garage remixes of Headie One ft Skepta, Tom Walker, Not3s, Tom Zanetti and Professor Green with Rag N Bone Man to name a few. 

Relentless played a pivotal role in UK Garage and remains one of the most influential labels in the scene today so I’m happy to collaborate with them and be a part of this celebration.

Entre sa création en 1996 et aujourd’hui, l’association Technopol est devenue la structure de référence des musiques électroniques en France.
Véritable tête de réseau reconnue, Technopol fédère et représente l’ensemble des actrices et des acteurs de la filière auprès des institutions, nationalement au Groupe de Travail des Musiques Actuelles du ministère de la Culture et localement auprès des collectivités territoriales, en tant que partenaire des réseaux de musiques actuelles et interlocuteur direct des artistes, les structures de production de spectacles vivants et de musiques enregistrées, agences de management artistique et de booking et des médias de cette esthétique incontournable des musiques actuelles.

L'association est également organisatrice de la Techno Parade et du festival Paris Electronic Week.
