The 123rd FrenzyPodcast will be provided by Chontane! The Ukrainian-rooted, Berlin-grown artist is part of the new wave of producers more invested in sound design and razor-sharp productions than ever before. Chontane’s early studies in music and sound design allow for surgical precision; the results of which can be found in his densely produced tracks. Pulling in UK-style rhythms rethought at times through twitchy IDM arrangements to add to his recognizable punch, his sound is anything but conforming. As a result, his tracks stand at a stylistic crossroads between various dance genres, easily slipping into just about anyone’s tracklist if their goal is to get people moving. 

Chontane created a one-hour plus vinyl-only podcast, for which he took a dive into his tribal collection. Presenting his refined take on the old school sound that you will hear a lot more about in the future. Listen to the sound of Chontane here, enjoy!

PITCH.1, part and Resident DJ of the Tech Clubbers collective, is the Techno project of Vincenzo Montalbano.

The approach to the world of the clubs takes place during the years of stay in London which will guide the style with the typical sounds of house music. The many visits to Berlin clubs add minimal and dark notes to his DJ sets. Lover of 90’s techno he winks at acid, detroit, industrial sounds, with break beat parentheses.

Eva Bohnen is a Rotterdam based underground techno dj and producer. Her unique style can be described as raw and intense. Together with Denn Punk Eva runs her own record label MEUK, meaning something between “old junk” and “messy”. You can expect Eva’s new EP ‘Rave Me’ in the next few weeks. Two of the tracks are debuting here in the podcast for ZUZANAH.
