After the funky summer release ‘Deep In’ by Stephen Brown, Technorama records continues to promote diversity & quality music. They are back this time in the ‘electro game’ with this superb release by the French specialist Dynarec. 

Sometimes you have artists that can electroshock you with a very good 12" and then after that they are not able to satisfy your expectations. Dynarec is one of those who is capable to impress each and every time that he delivers a release. Coming from France, Dynarec improves on even the most advanced experimental electro as no one did before, giving it depth, awareness and knowledge, making it more rigid and linear. A journey into those post Drexciya atmospheres which reach some of the highest moments in a new Electro history….. Romantic and complex, rich in detail and unlikely to be imitated or surpassed by others on the contemporary new electro scene. 

Released in 2007 on Vapourwave, the electro anthem ’In Your Hand’ by Dynarec is back here on a remastered version + a new modern reinterpretation by himself. You can find here also a beautiful remixes by The Exaltics and the unstoppable Voiski, enjoy !

On the fourth disc the a-side is fully covered with the second appearance of Amsterdam producer KAAP. Known for his long live jams on his own imprint Working Titles he does the same right here. 'Phisiks', over 14 minutes long is a warm and dubby melodic builder that perfectly fits in the ÆX catalogue. On the b-side there's Ocke W again with a slamming percussive jam. The EP finishes with Taupe who is following up his track on the third chapter, here again an energetic Detroit-esque techno trip.

For its 303rd release, Tresor Records is glad to present a commissioned work by Donato Dozzy.

Rome based production maestro and DJ extraordinaire Donato Dozzy is unanimously considered as an illustrious leading light in all techno artforms.

Along his long career and extensive discography, Dozzy has proven to use his instruments most interesting ways, always re-inventing his music, always presenting new approaches to both the deeper and the more rhythmic forms of electronic music. It was self-evident to Tresor Records to enroll Donato Dozzy’s talents for this assignment, a nod to the seminal Roland TB-303 bass synthesizer.

The result is a relentless collection of radical, propulsive and bleeding-heart acid tracks. In Dozzy’s words.

Donato Dozzy wishes to dedicate this work to his lifelong friend Filo.

Ryan James Ford’s productions are rarely anything other than inspired. Through regular releases on Marcel Dettmann Records, Answer Code Request and his own SHUT imprint, Ford has proved to be an exciting producer, capable of mangling sounds and styles to fit his wide-ranging musical vision.
The Berlin-based Canadian arrives on Happy Skull with a label debut that dramatically emphasizes the point. While each of the four tracks features audible nods to a wealth of influences and inspirations, the bold individuality of the resultant cuts all but renders such comparisons redundant.
For example, EP opener “Ormst Kaban”, whose wild, crashing, off-grid breakbeats and twisted, foreboding electronics aggressively spar with glacial chords and icy textures. The 16 bit arpeggio lines of 'Hobrv Kegdit' are underpinned by powerful sub-bass tones and industrial drum-breaks that merge to create a densely sprawling mass of dance floor melancholia.
This pattern continues throughout the EP, with “Slown Ridel” and “Nos Ummi” balancing skittish, noise-seeped percussion with the dreamy, glassy-eyed swell of classic ambient and pioneering early ‘90s IDM.

Lobster returns to it's scorched earth roots with a dark, gritty blend of techno-based power traxx from New York staple Heidi Sabertooth.

Tracks scraped from the surface of the NY underground. Proper hardware jams with a raw, scorched edge!

Eyes Are Watching combines punched kicks, squelched synths and pitched-down grunting mosh vox. The mood then lightens a touch for the hypnotic, dusty hardware workout Non Such. Jackin' Chitown vibes peppered with plucked & arp'd synths.

On the flip Makin Cutz is pure can-recorded techno. Overdrive-central in a caged industrial basement. Detuned acid & raw af hammering drum programming. Then for the finishing move, Weeding Through Distortion adds some off-club IDM-tinged sonic flavour to proceedings. Echoes of early Warp (think elements of Autechre live in Wakefield in the early 90's) shot through with some hard US noise processing. A tough, melodic gem.

The moon seemed bigger tonight than ever before. Brighter too. It's blinding light lit up her garden as if a 500 kilowatt bulb had been switched on overhead. From her bedroom window she gazed up at the sky, daydreaming of what her life would be like away from earth. She traced the constellations in the air with her finger, creating shapes and figures, reimagining her own patterns. What she would give to leave this planet and create a new world of her own amongst the stars. A place where she could be spaced.

Rising Polish producer Jaxe inaugurates Dom Trojga, a brand new Warsaw-based label launched by Polish DJ and producer Eltron, with a four-tracker entitled Seekings. Recorded during a transitional period in Jaxe's life last year, the EP takes in acid, trance and electro influences and combines sincerity and depth as a vehicle for escapism. 

With Dom Trojga, which translates as "House Of Three", Eltron is on a mission to tell a story of what goes on in the basements of Poland's dancing spaces, tracing how this relationship with the dance floor has evolved. This is a platform to represent the energy and diversity of the artists, DJs and dancers who embody the country's scene.
