一月二十五號夜請來生於法國，現定居柏林的DJ/收蔵家Laura BCR來到宀作為嘉賓。Laura BCR曾舉辧雲集歐洲各地DJ的On Board派對，現時她於海牙夜店Het Magazijn駐場，也曾為巴塞隆拿的Razzmatazz駐場DJ，Laura BCR似乎與舞池結下不解之緣。

On the 25th of January, 宀 invites the French born Berlin based DJ and music collector Laura BCR who created the famous On Board parties featuring very talented DJs all around Europe. She is currently resident DJ of the acclaimed and intimate Het Magazijn club in The Hague... a girl who knows her dancefloor very well.

成長於法國，Laura BCR自少年時期開始收集音樂，把各類音樂混音重新編排等等，受到當時Rave派對文化啓發，類型可橫跨由Hardcore到House Music。

French born and raised, Laura BCR has been dedicated her life to music for more than a decade. She has been collecting music from her teenage years, starting mixing all kind of genres from Hardcore to House Music inspired by Rave Parties where she was hanging out during several years.

2006年Laura BCR與份屬好友的Etienne(Arcarsenal其中一位成員)在法國南部的夜店舉辦她首個派對，小休後數年她搖身一變成巡演經經理人，2013年她再回歸音樂與Etienne於柏林新克爾恩區開辦了唱片店Bass Cadet Record，維持了三年半。

In 2006, she organized her first party in a club in the South of France with her best friend Etienne from Arcarsenal. After a hiatus, touring as production manager during a few years, she came back to her first love in 2013 and opened with Etienne the infamous Bass Cadet Record store in Berlin during 3 years and a half in the heart of Neukölln.

With Bass Cadet, she organized many in-stores parties and started to improve her DJ skills in front of an audience. In 2015, she created On Board Music, first as a booking agency and then as a label and a party organization. On Board Music is now making parties around Europe with international headliners.

Laura BCR played in many prestigious venues such as Moog, Laut or Razzmatazz in Barcelona, Concrete in Paris, Tresor, ://about blank or Griessmuehle in Berlin to name a few. From 2018, she is resident at The Hague intimate techno club, Het Magazijn. Her DJ sets are always super versatile from deep to straight techno, mixing electro and classic house tracks to spice it up.

宀 Invites Laura BCR (On Board / Het Magazijn, Berlin)

Italian dub techno maestro, Hydergine returns on his own Ranges label with a double EP of delightfully deep grooves. Hydergine has been pushing his spellbinding electronic sound for almost a decade now, dropping vinyl focused releases on labels like Minimood, Phorma and Knotweed, as well as his own Ranges imprint. The artist hails from Italy’s deep south and took his production moniker from the mood altering smart drug of the same name. His music is characterized by subtle electronic textures, floating soundscapes and a penchant for the raw sounds of dub techno. ‘Light infusions’ opens up the A side with ‘Escape’ an entrancing and beatless eight-minute intro track that perfectly sets the scene, before ‘Therapeutic Flow’ brings a gently driven and hazy groove to bear. The flipside begins by offering a collaboration with Copenhagen’s Mikkel Metal as the pair deliver ‘Blue Lotus’, a hypnotic and engaging affair build around whispered hi hats, cosmic synths and understated melodies. The first slab concludes with ‘Gamma Ray’, as Hydergine journeys into deep techno territory with a dinstinct Detroit feel. The second 12” opens with a track featuring dub techno veterans Merv, known for their 90s productions on Dancecop, as well as more recent offerings on Minimood, Subwax BCn and more. ‘Phrases’ see the pair working with Hydergine on the excellent ‘Phrases’, a supremely dubby piece that builds slowly but intensely across its eight-and-a-half-minute duration. ‘Retrofitted Future’ takes a slight darker turn with a heady and muted approach before we reach another collaborative effort, this time with Detroit’s Luke Hess. Hess needs little introduction to fans of quality techno with a discography that takes in Rekids, Planet-e and Echocord. Here he gives his input on ‘Pervasive Depth’, a true gem of a cut that fuses the deepest of dub techno with an inspired arpeggiated top line. The packages closes out with ‘Landscapes’, a final opus that sees Hydergine join forces with France’s Audub for the perfect final piece in the puzzle. The spoken word by Victor (KrWi) in the opening track of our newest Social Distancing compilation is a strong call for change, for a brighter future. It sets the mood for what is to follow, seven tracks exploring ambient soundscapes, industrial techno, broken beat and dreamy rhythms.

C12 is a multidisciplinary nightclub and platform run by the Deep in House collective, located in the heart of Brussels. It's a safe place where freedom, diversity, creativity and alternative culture are protected from the restrictive and normative outside world. The project was launched in February 2018 and includes concerts, art installations, lives, club nights and exhibitions.

The Corona crisis is keeping our doors closed and dancefloor empty for several weeks now, with no hopes yet on new line-ups and crowds of enthusiastic dancers. But this unprecedented situation isn’t holding us still. Continuing to support our local Brussels and Belgian electronic music scene, C12 is proud to announce its own label with 10 music compilations dubbed Social Distancing. All artists involved are Belgian or strongly connected to the Brussels scene. Confirmed are Le Motel, Stellar OM Source, A.Brehme, Front De Cadeaux, Davy, OCB Casa Voyager, Cabasa, Techno Thriller, Orphan Swords, Different Fountains, Bear Bones Lay Low, Gols, Hadone, ... and our residents Session 4000, Kafim & Chris Ferreira. Compilations will also be curated by female artists promoting platform ‘Psst Mlle’ and queer culture collective ‘Benediction’.

Each edition consists of a collection of several tracks and will be released every two weeks, leading to a total of approximately fifty tracks. All music will be available to add on your favorite streaming service Soundcloud, Youtube, Spotify and Bandcamp. In addition for each track we offer a limited amount of 500 free downloads through our Bandcamp page, where donations are also enabled for those who wish to support us and the artists involved.
