RADIO.D59B / HARVEST REPORT #6 w/ Stereociti

Delighted to share my DJ set recorded @abovebelowfestival. I played on Friday early evening 17:30 - 19:30, set within a sun-drenched valley in the Chiltern Hills. This is a super deep vinyl mix of what I like to call Dream House - using the filter to hazy affect. 

Sadly, this is not the complete 2 hour recording...something went wrong for the final 20 minutes, missing out Underworld's Born Slippy remix and original Nuxx version that I closed with...(shit happens).

Big thanks to the Above Below crew for the invitation and I cannot wait to return - late night set next time please : )

Like a home emerging from the murky mists of a night gone past, the edges solidifying as the rising sun battles relentlessly against the night, tearing away the tendrils of fog. So does Illumine expand, and develop, almost in front of your ears. Through pads, and textures, sweeping across the sonic stage, to the first kick building and building tension. Only good things await the listener as the melodies grow and grow, like the sun rising the day ahead.

Illumine, and its companions will be released on Tact Recordings in the coming weeks. The three track EP by Yard One gives a hypnotic, more groovier side to their productions, relying on ear-worm like loops and melodies.

DJSPARK & MATT DAVIS are currently forming a Sydney based collective (Along with James Carstenen).  They currently host a regular open decks night in Sydney to help DJ's network and hone their skills.  Both hailing from Leeds, UK with a similar background: they're bringing a party atmosphere to this special Episode.   🕺💃🏻🕺💃🏻
