DJ Nostalgic was introduced to electronic dance music when he attended his first “rave” in February 1996. Little did he know he would spend the next 16 years making a name for himself; not only as an event promoter but more importantly as a DJ. He was instantly given the respect of his peers for his ability to rock crowded dance floors time after time after time. 

DJ Nostalgic spent 8 of the last 16 years as a party promoter. He was a partner with Floorgasm Productions from 1996-2000. Then he founded Downtown Entertainment Inc. in 2000 where he continued promoting for the next 4 years. In those 8 years he hosted 9 full scale events, as well as a vast number of club nights, bringing huge named talent to the Ohio/Indiana area such as: Sasha, De La Soul, EPMD, Jon Bishop, Kimball Collins, Skylab 2000…and the list goes on. 

DJ Nostalgic had his first “gig” in 1998. He has played over 200 events, along with holding many club residencies in Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio and Austin, Texas. He has hosted 2 internet radio shows. His first, sundayLIVE, was a 2hr weekly broadcast featuring himself and a guest DJ for the final hour. His most recent internet radio show, HouseCall is a 2hr podcast every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. HouseCall is now in its 3rd year. 

DJ Nostalgic has had the honor of opening for some of the biggest electronic dance music artists such as: SASHA, DONALD GLAUDE, BAD BOY BILL, ROBERT ARMANI, DJ ICEY, and ROY DAVIS JR, just to name a few.

DJ Nostalgic has recently started a new chapter in what has already become an exciting adventure and turned his sights to producing. His debut as a producer was born in 2009, with house track “Da Doomph” written with friend and fellow studio Lab Scientist Centrifusion of 3daymission Production & Design.

DJ Nostalgic is blazing the trails of dance music. He traded in the 2 turntables and mixer format which he learned on and has expanded his arsenal. He now uses Traktor Scratch Pro, Native Instruments S4 controller, and 2 Pioneer CDJ1000's turning his mix sets into breathtaking dance floor assaults. 

DJ Nostalgic continues his 16 year pilgrimage dedicated to big sound systems, electronically charged dance floors, and HOUSE MUSIC ALL NIGHT LONG!!!
