Harmony was born as a collective of friends oriented towards an organic, dubby, hypnotic techno sound. From organizing parties they developed into a label that has worked with artists like Feral, Shoal, Ness, Alfred Czital or Jamida.

A1. Polygonia - Division Right from the start the listener is cast into orbit with driving percussion and abstract sound effects. Soon they are followed with a morphing bass sound and cymbals which lock the groove into place, cranking the drive to the max. As the track progresses the landscape of sound reveals its nature with metallic quality, like schrapnel from a barren city. Truly a Deep Techno banger which will without a doubt fill a dance floor. A2. MTRL - Taris The listener is slowly submerged into the waves of percussive bass sounds and menacing sweeps of noise which remind of a storm in a desert, the horizon only slightly glimmering behind the veil of sand. Soon the listener is introduced with a pounding kick drum, almost making the landscape seem even more ruthless as the track progresses. Quality, heady Deep Techno. B1. Polygonia - Division [Claudio PRC Remix] The hypnotic Techno maestro Claudio PRC twists the idea of the original track into a mind explorative voyage with a triplet feel. The remix is shrouded in melancholy with distant pad sounds, which add a nice tension to the track. As usual, a brilliant remix from Claudio PRC. B2. MTRL - Taris [Mary Yuzovskaya Remix] On the remix the Berlin based producer is molding the source material into a driving and psychedelic track, functional yet synapse tingling. Now the bass has a bit more liquid-like quality and the overall soundscape is more abstract. Hallucinatory effects of noise are filling the spaces between the sounds, almost like being surrounded with faint whispers. Driving and psychedelic Deep Techno done with finesse.

Forest On Stasys - In Search Of Balance [Kizen Records]

Blame the treacherous winds of COVID pandemic and its concomitant quarantine, excessive drinking, zoom parties, and slow internet connections, but Delayed has clearly been binging on the dark sounds of dub techno lately.  We've certainly written our share of dub techno reviews.  And just when our dub techno crate started to overflow and to aurally blend into one giant ball of dark beats and muffled sounds, salvation comes to us straight out of the Vatican…or, at least, Rome.

Luigi Tozzi, one of the pre-eminent producers in hypnotic techno--a grey cardinal of dark beats if you will--must have either heard our muted cries at Delayed or must have also overdosed on dub during the pandemic: his remix of Orion's Lie takes a dubby dark skeleton and injects it with much-needed drive and energy.  The track is still a dark, sparse echo-y goodness, but it's been wakened from its dub coma by delicate percussive fluttering and distant atmospheric drops of sound that are Luigi's calling cards and that balance the track so well. It is as if a colorful little bird flew into a dungeon, surprising everyone and diluting the gloom. Here's hoping that this is not a canary in a coal mine!

ABOUT US

TechnoTrippin' was established in the early 2014 in Barcelona to support the small techno scene that was emerging slowly but intensely.

In 2015 "Techno in the Forest", an underground festival on the outskirts of Barcelona, was born with the idea of creating strong links between artists, collectives, labels, dancers and everyone related to the underground scene in the city.
After 4 unforgettable editions, we decided we had accomplished our objective of uniting the scene and Techno in the Forest celebrated its last memorable gathering in 2018.

Since then, we have been operating only as a non-profit underground techno platform releasing podcasts & premieres from artists and labels around the globe.

In 2024, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we launched our solidary techno label, focused on releasing music to help people who are in terryfing situations.

All the proceeds from all releases will go to different NGOs like Save The Children, UNRWA and Open Arms.*

We plan to put on another TechnoTrippin' in the Forest (V). We feel it's time again, after the pandemic, to support and unite the local techno scene by providing an unrivalled quality sound system, a place surrounded by nature, and an atmosphere that reflects the fact that we are not in it for the money. We put our heart and soul into it, simply because we can, and for us, techno is a way of life.
