The journey begins in the valley, where instinct guides the first steps. There is no plan, only a
feeling - to leave the car behind and follow the nearest path upwards. The trail leads through a forest drenched in moss, damp earth underfoot, and the quiet breath of pines shading the way.
It is a beginning wrapped in stillness, as if the mountain itself is waiting.

As the ascent grows steeper, the landscape opens little by little. Between the trees, sudden
windows of light reveal sweeping views of the surrounding hills, endless forests stretching
across the horizon. Each pause carries a sense of wonder, the climb itself becoming part of
the rhythm. The higher the path winds, the lighter the heart becomes, as though every step
pulls the spirit closer to something timeless.

Near the summit, a hidden cave emerges. From the outside, it seems small and unassuming - but inside, it unfolds into a vast, otherworldly chamber. Stalactites and stalagmites form silent sculptures, while the last glow of the setting sun pours through the entrance, bathing the stone in a magical light. It feels like stepping into a secret only nature can hold, a moment of awe suspended in time.

This EP carries those impressions into sound - the quiet beginning in the valley, the momentum of ascent, and the luminous mystery discovered at the peak. A translation of fleeting beauty into rhythm and tone, held like an echo of the mountain itself.

Gli antichi greci credevano nell'acqua come fonte primordiale d'ogni cosa: fu dai capelli di Venere che nacquero le cascate dietro le quali si celavano le ninfe Oreadi durante il corso della notte, lontane dagli uomini fallacei e troppo terreni.
L'incipit di questo viaggio è un suono fluido, forse lo stesso dello scorrere e scrosciare di quella cascata ninfica, o così ci piace pensare. Tra mito e magia, il trasporto lento e profondo di questo set. Un soundscape curato ed elegante, confezionato da Hoedus per la decima puntata della nostra podcast series. In "Genom", liquid synths and ethereal elements are interleaved with a ritualistic high-decay kickdrum blended with a reverberated ambiance.

"Sinking" presents a more detailed ambient texture and fast-paced rhythmic patterns. Sharp reverberated hi-hats create expansive and hallucinatory effects in the background. 

"Algorytmi" reworks the vibe of the EP implementing a basic structure that makes the track playable in different contexts.

Overall, a very interesting EP for the lovers of classy techno. Don't miss it!

Crescent London is a new deep & hypnotic techno label centred on ambient textures and dub elements. For the label launch, the London-based collective put together a 13 track 'Various Artists' compilation of some of their favourite producers. Named "Magnetic Fields", the V/A is focusing on electric atmospheres and textures, locking the listener deep in the groove and the hypnosis. From drone and euphoric atmospheres to detailed broken-techno, the compilation displays a textured view on contemporary techno, elegant and mental, yet ready for the clubs to re-open.

Neben Jazzgesang und Darkwave entwickelte Medha früh eine Leidenschaft für technoide Musik. Geprägt durch die Berliner
und Leipziger Clubszene, insbesondere das Institut für Zukunft, entwickelte sie ihre eigenen Vorstellung ihre Leidenschaft
zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Mit prägnanten Basslines, impulsiven Rhythmen und repetetiven Sounds bildet sie einen
endlosen Drive der immer zum Ziel hat, Zuhörer zum tanzen zu bewegen. Seit über einem Jahr ist sie außerdem fester
Bestandteil des PVC Kollektivs. Wir haben sie in Leipzig kennengelernt und sie kurz darauf eingeladen um bei uns zu spielen. Daraus wurden jetzt schon mehrere meetings und endlich gibt es nun auch den ersten Podcast von ihr. Viele, Vielen Dank dafür!

In addition to jazz singing and darkwave, Medha developed a passion for technoid music early on. Influenced by
the Berlin and Leipzig club scene, especially the Institut für Zukunft, she developed her own idea of expressing her
passion. With concise basslines, impulsive rhythms and repetitive sounds she creates an endless drive that always
aims to make listeners dance. Leipzig based she has also been an integral part of the PVC collective for over a year. 
We met her in Leipzig and invited her shortly after to play with us. This turned into several meetings and finally we got her first podcast. Many, many thanks for that!

ABOUT US

TechnoTrippin' was established in the early 2014 in Barcelona to support the small techno scene that was emerging slowly but intensely.

In 2015 "Techno in the Forest", an underground festival on the outskirts of Barcelona, was born with the idea of creating strong links between artists, collectives, labels, dancers and everyone related to the underground scene in the city.
After 4 unforgettable editions, we decided we had accomplished our objective of uniting the scene and Techno in the Forest celebrated its last memorable gathering in 2018.

Since then, we have been operating only as a non-profit underground techno platform releasing podcasts & premieres from artists and labels around the globe.

In 2024, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we launched our solidary techno label, focused on releasing music to help people who are in terryfing situations.

All the proceeds from all releases will go to different NGOs like Save The Children, UNRWA and Open Arms.*

We plan to put on another TechnoTrippin' in the Forest (V). We feel it's time again, after the pandemic, to support and unite the local techno scene by providing an unrivalled quality sound system, a place surrounded by nature, and an atmosphere that reflects the fact that we are not in it for the money. We put our heart and soul into it, simply because we can, and for us, techno is a way of life.
