Dj & producer from Menorca (Balearic Islands), raised in Barcelona and now based in Mallorca.
Since a very young age, Artús Miravet aka ZAU started exploring into electronic music but always as a hobbie. 
But in 2014 he discovered Insert Club in Barcelona, and his mind changed forever... 
He developed his skills at the booth and played in different parties including  TechnoTrippin' (Techno in the Forest) Festival in Barcelona, a must for all people in Barcelona's underground Techno scene.
After some years he got into next step and started with production but some different professional reasons forced him to take a break from all. 
And now is back in the studios and dj booths, and is also resident at the Cultural Association in Mallorca called AAA (All About Arts) where you can find him playing regularly in their Sunday events.

TechnoTrippin' Podcast 005 - ZAU

Apprentice of electronic music 
ZAU: Nacido en 1992, en Menorca. Bajo el nombre de Artús Miravet Sais. Por varios motivos fue de un lado a otro. Ya de niño interactuó con varios instrumentos y algún teclado y caja de ritmos. La electrónica, formo parte de su vida desde joven. Con referentes como VItalic, Fatboy Slim, Dj Rush, Carl cox, Paul Ritch entre otros. Pero hasta el 2012 no empezó a implicarse en el mundo del DJ, con un grupo de amigos. En 2013 gracias a Sinert y Kafadam, se introdujo en la producción. A partir de consejos y varias experiencias (como el club Insert, que marcó un antes y un después, en su estilo musical), experimentó con la electrónica y decidió dedicarse al Techno. Aunque no creé en etiquetas, ya que la música siempre tiene la última palabra. Después de deambular por la escena y de un retiro "espiritual" vueve a la carga en la isla de Mallorca con la asociación cultural de AAA (All About Arts). Actualmente sigue a artistas como; Reeko, Adriana Lopez, Flug, Dasha Rush, Luis Flores, Varg, Truncate, entre tantos artistas.

ABOUT US

TechnoTrippin' was established in the early 2014 in Barcelona to support the small techno scene that was emerging slowly but intensely.

In 2015 "Techno in the Forest", an underground festival on the outskirts of Barcelona, was born with the idea of creating strong links between artists, collectives, labels, dancers and everyone related to the underground scene in the city.
After 4 unforgettable editions, we decided we had accomplished our objective of uniting the scene and Techno in the Forest celebrated its last memorable gathering in 2018.

Since then, we have been operating only as a non-profit underground techno platform releasing podcasts & premieres from artists and labels around the globe.

In 2024, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we launched our solidary techno label, focused on releasing music to help people who are in terryfing situations.

All the proceeds from all releases will go to different NGOs like Save The Children, UNRWA and Open Arms.*

We plan to put on another TechnoTrippin' in the Forest (V). We feel it's time again, after the pandemic, to support and unite the local techno scene by providing an unrivalled quality sound system, a place surrounded by nature, and an atmosphere that reflects the fact that we are not in it for the money. We put our heart and soul into it, simply because we can, and for us, techno is a way of life.
