Sun Dawei aka CTAFAD. Electronic musician, guitarist, he is a very active Chinese composer.

He started learning to play guitar at the age of fourteen and then set up a punk band, which became the catalyst for him to open the music gate. Settled in Beijing in 1999, then began the research and creation, electronic music and punk band legend in China "underground baby" as the band music arranger and guitarist, at the same time began to dabble in Fashion Show, movies, drama and jingles.For the first time in 2003 in China's famous record company in the name Of Sulumi "modern sky" albums "Air Inhibition Of Water", this is his first formal experimental electronic music show, the original technique to build a new music, present a different way to express the heart.

In the same period, he also created the personal music label "Shanshui Records", and published dozens of electronic music Records in 10 years. Together with many domestic and foreign electronic musicians, the independence and music parallelism, promote the Chinese electronic music revolution.

In the next few years, I began to explore the Chiptune style. Using Game Boy and Nanoloop music software, it is known as "China's 8bit first person" and its music is deeply popular. In 2008, he was invited to the "Blip Festival", the world's largest electronic music festival in New York. In the meantime, the music of this period is more mature and shows the spirit of Chiptune music. After that, people from all circles are attracted to it.The publication of "The Heaven" has made his personal music career leap.He has made a series of Remix works, including the Brain Failure, New Pants, The Gar, EeL, Jeans Team, Snoop Lion, Kid606 and Zaliva-d. In all Remix works, he has his own unique style.

In 2013, Shanshui Records was reorganized, based on Ambient music and the minimalist Techno style. Integrated with rock attitude, world view and modern consciousness, the melody is transformed into a melody, abstracting consciousness and hiding the pursuit.

He then moved to Japan and released his new album "Unconsciousness" by VICE CHINA in 2015. Bring new sound concepts and melodies -- more and more steady rhythm and dark line of melody line, always around the rock core stealthily, music melody avoids joy and sorrow. Unbiased, moving in time. Around the album tour held in several cities in China, he put his signature style to the new dimension of performance and deep inside the body sound in the dark with the light, guide you to return to the real world.

After several metamorphoses, to explore different Spaces. He announced the new musician plan - CTAFAD.In music, you can hear "there's not a lot of modified original timbre, like atmospheric pressure, ambitious ultrasound experiments. Finally, an epic core sound field is carefully polished. The rhythm and the bass line from the beginning is proficient in the interaction, gradually unfolded and never went out.

Ậ.Deniậl - is also known as Annes, based in St. Petersburg/Russia, who entered the DJs in 2008. Having taken her first steps in underground techno and breakbeat in the first techno club "Tunnel" (St.Petersburg). Since then, she has taken a great style journey and in 2018 techno culture brought her back.

In 2019, she created her own events called Sacred Sound Events, specializing in the underground and hypnotic side of electronic music.

Ậ Deniậl sounds are a combination of shamanic rhythms and a deep dark atmosphere with a mental message.

Javier Serrano, better known as KOTEC, is the guest for this new episode of Mix Series.
Born and based in Priego de Córdoba, this experienced DJ, producer and sound engineer has been contributing a lot to the Techno scene for many years with a high level in all its disciplines.
But above all, breaking cliches and not following trends or fads. Co-founder of Rhod Records, together with Loss Of Balance, with more than 50 references on the market since its birth in 2017, several of which are on vinyl and cd.

HG-2 is his most introspective and personal project, a label more focused on the more experimental and minimalist side of Techno and avant-garde Electronic music, even bordering on IDM or Noise on occasions.

Also performing in parallel work as a sound engineer in his own company, KTC Mastering.
With a great resume behind him, just to mention some artists and labels such as; Steve Stoll, Carl Craig, Gerald Donald, International Deejay Gigolo, Dasha Rush, Speedy J, Stanislav Tolkachev, Samuli Kemppi, Eduardo de la Calle, Orbe, Non Series... etc

KOTEC gives us a Mix Series where his experience behind the decks is connoted, and how he translates for us without words a speech executed to perfection with the styles for which he is always recognized as an artist, minimalism, persuasion, experimentation, syncopated rhythms, but especially avant-garde and personality.

Deep techno will always have a very special place in our hearts and no matter what happens, we will undoubtedly always feel at home surrounded by the warmth of its rolling drums,  gentle seductive grooves and magnetic ambience.

This is why our next podcast was a total no brainer and if, like us, deep techno speaks to your soul, you won’t be disappointed. 

PHSR (Phaser) is the relatively new project from Fabio Garau, born out of a long-lasting love for techno. Fabio was previously creating under the alias Recycle Duo, a harder techno project which saw him play in countries across the world including Colombia, Slovenia and Spain. Following callings from the deeper realms of techno, inspired by the likes of Claudio PRC, Ness, Oscar Mulero, Donato, Reeko, to name but a few, his creative urges evolved, soon coming to life through deep techno parties he co-organises in the woodlands of Sardinia,  playing at numerous events across the charming Italian island, and via his first solo EP coming soon, showcasing the deep, dark and groovy sounds he, like us, fell in love with.

His mix for On the 5th Day takes us down a very happy memory lane, bringing up only the very best feelings, and we’re sure it’ll do the same for you.

TechnoTrippin' was established in the early 2014 in Barcelona to support the small techno scene that was emerging slowly but intensely.

In 2015 "Techno in the Forest", a Techno rave in the outskirts of Barcelona, was born with the idea of creating strong links between artists, collectives, labels, ravers and everyone related to the underground scene in the city.
After 4 unforgettable editions, our goal for which we were initially born, we considered that was accomplished and Techno in the Forest celebrated its last memorable gathering in 2018.

Since then, operating only as a non-profit underground techno platform releasing podcasts & premieres from artists and labels around the globe.

In 2024, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we launch our solidary techno label, focused on releasing music to help people who are in terryfing situations.
All the proceeds from all releases will go to different NGOs like Save The Children, UNRWA and Open Arms.
