Staryk is a young Polish DJ, artist and adept in sound engineering. He has been associated with music from an early age. Member of Polish Techno.logy label and PPL Showcase collective.

During his adolescence, classical guitar and percussion were the foundations of communing with sounds in his life. A few years ago he soaked in the underground environment of electronic music and started his adventure with darker sounds for good. A few years of painstaking polishing has resulted in the vision of sound, style and technique, which is his trademark. Most recognizable of combining percussive, up-tempo sound with a rolling bass and spatial pads which gives us groovy mix, full of surprising breaks.

Inspired by style from UK players like: Rene Wise, A.Morgan, XONO or Flaws and also Portuguese vision from Vil, Re:Axis and Temudo. A compulsive digger and music collector, which he always carefully looks for in the track selection process. The basis of his "hunting" is always "quality", which he describes as: "building a story through the creative use and combination of sound elements in the arrangement of the entire track". Precision and details are therefore of great importance for Staryk, and the result for the audience, according to artist is to be "a journey without gravity, among undiscovered planets."

ASEC is a Berlin-based artist and label project specializing in raw, hypnotic, movement-oriented electronic music. Though his roots trace back to Manchester's underground scene, he has masterfully redefined the interplay between building sonic tension and atmospheric release. His high-intensity tracks create irresistible momentum on the dance floor—a bold fusion of musical vision, tradition and innovation.

Central to ASEC's distinct identity is his modular live set—a storytelling journey that showcases his expansive musical vision. Through a blend of dark textures and idiosyncratic melodies, ASEC offers a live performance that goes beyond the conventional, as demonstrated in his Boiler Room debut last year.

A music technology innovator, ASEC has been instrumental in advancing the landscape of electronic music production, particularly through his leading contributions to Ableton Live. Far from a mere technical endeavor, this work has allowed him to push electronic music production and live performance into uncharted territories, manifesting a skill set and sound palette unparalleled in the techno landscape.

ASEC's recent releases include a full-length EP on Counterchange Recordings titled 'Trauma Bond,' and a vinyl debut on Ellen Allien’s BPitch. His discography also features exclusive releases on his own label, the most recent of which includes remixes from Kaiser (KEY Vinyl) and Inland (Ostgut Ton). ASEC's tracks have also been featured on household name labels such as Planet X and MORD.

With 20 plus something years in the game, Mike has handled many roles in the industry. From running an artist management agency in the early 2000’s, promoting events, DJ’ing and producing, Mike has done a lot and seen a lot. Mike’s DJ sets are unique with a blend of deep, hypnotic, spaced out and driving style of techno.

In 2017, he launched his label, Northern Parallels. Focusing on deep, trippy, spaced out, hypnotic techno. The label features well respected veteran producers DJ Hyperactive, Dustin Zahn, Myles Serge, Hiroko Yamamura, Ray Kajioka and up and coming producers Jason Patrick, Allana Letm, Lindsey Herbert Joshua Calleja with also providing a home for new faces that are making exceptional music.

ABOUT US

TechnoTrippin' was established in the early 2014 in Barcelona to support the small techno scene that was emerging slowly but intensely.

In 2015 "Techno in the Forest", an underground festival on the outskirts of Barcelona, was born with the idea of creating strong links between artists, collectives, labels, dancers and everyone related to the underground scene in the city.
After 4 unforgettable editions, we decided we had accomplished our objective of uniting the scene and Techno in the Forest celebrated its last memorable gathering in 2018.

Since then, we have been operating only as a non-profit underground techno platform releasing podcasts & premieres from artists and labels around the globe.

In 2024, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we launched our solidary techno label, focused on releasing music to help people who are in terryfing situations.

All the proceeds from all releases will go to different NGOs like Save The Children, UNRWA and Open Arms.*

We plan to put on another TechnoTrippin' in the Forest (V). We feel it's time again, after the pandemic, to support and unite the local techno scene by providing an unrivalled quality sound system, a place surrounded by nature, and an atmosphere that reflects the fact that we are not in it for the money. We put our heart and soul into it, simply because we can, and for us, techno is a way of life.
