Concept:
It is our absolute pleasure to announce the first compilation on QEONE.

This wonderful collection of tracks is really unique as all pieces are based on one concept which is completely sound design oriented. The idea behind this release series is to have one material or substance which will then be interpreted by the artists. For this very first compilation we chose the material Wood.

In the end the artists will also reveal some specific techniques which they used for the production of each track to transform this project also into a skill sharing platform for followers to learn from and get inspired. It offers a great opportunity to get insight into various approaches to one topic.

Michał Wolski‘s production ‚Where Have You Come From‘ touches the deepest side of things with his drony impulses and hypnotising vibes. He created all of the sounds using one little sample in which he recorded two wooden kitchen tools. The processing of it turned out so versatile that nobody would suppose that it is only featuring that one source sound.

"Seasoned Greetings" (DR008) marks the inception of the DE RIO split-release vinyl series. Collaborating in this inaugural installment are resident artist Plastique01 and Ukrainian techno luminary Stanislav Tolkachev. Originating from an encounter in Florence, where the duo not only shared the stage but also exchanged personal narratives, the EP delves into their unique interpretations of the techno genre. The result is a mesmerizing collection of four tracks, characterized by hypnotic melodies, unconventional sequences, detuned synthlines, and the pulsating rhythm of raw drums. We've followed the journeys of many artists, and seeing them evolve and explore new avenues of expression is truly inspiring. One such artist is Ina Kacz, a Berlin/Tbilisi-based producer and DJ. We're thrilled to introduce you to her new imprint, Aneelhi Rec, and its inaugural release: her five-track EP, "Endless."
"Endless" showcases Kacz's versatility. She dips into halftime on "Days Off" and flirts with trance on "Similitude." But the EP primarily resides in energetic, rolling, off-kilter techno. 
Our premiere for today, "New Grounds," perfectly embodies the energy Kacz crafts on the record. "New Grounds" is a powerhouse track, brimming with intricate details that flit between two intertwining sequences. Subtle tweaks and masterful percussion work build an irresistible groove that feels both cosmic and grounded. Perhaps the title - "New Grounds," serves as an analogy for the label itself – a fresh platform for Kacz and the talented artists in her circle.

"New Grounds" and the "Endless" EP mark a new chapter for Ina Kacz's music and the dawn of Aneelhi Records, out on May 16.

ABOUT US

TechnoTrippin' was established in the early 2014 in Barcelona to support the small techno scene that was emerging slowly but intensely.

In 2015 "Techno in the Forest", an underground festival on the outskirts of Barcelona, was born with the idea of creating strong links between artists, collectives, labels, dancers and everyone related to the underground scene in the city.
After 4 unforgettable editions, we decided we had accomplished our objective of uniting the scene and Techno in the Forest celebrated its last memorable gathering in 2018.

Since then, we have been operating only as a non-profit underground techno platform releasing podcasts & premieres from artists and labels around the globe.

In 2024, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we launched our solidary techno label, focused on releasing music to help people who are in terryfing situations.

All the proceeds from all releases will go to different NGOs like Save The Children, UNRWA and Open Arms.*

In 2025, we plan to put on another TechnoTrippin' in the Forest (V). We feel it's time again, after the pandemic, to support and unite the local techno scene by providing an unrivalled quality sound system, a place surrounded by nature, and an atmosphere that reflects the fact that we are not in it for the money. We put our heart and soul into it, simply because we can, and for us, techno is a way of life.
