The generation of life from inert matter. It is a process that involves the development of a living being starting from a simple organic compound. A quick look at the etymology of this term shows us, on the one hand, the prefix a-, which in this case refers to the absence of something, or serves to deny a concept, more precisely bio, that is, “life”. ; In the last part of the word we have the concept of genesis, which we can translate as «beginning or origin«. In short, it is possible to deduce that abiogenesis tells us about two moments: one in which there is no life; another, in which it has arisen from inert elements. With Raices we carried out a campaign with a foundation with the fixed purpose of helping children, we achieved a collection goal of 1200 USD, in which all the proceeds went to the Children of ´Bajo Baudó´ in the Chocó region in Colombia. in which we bring together more than 40 artists from around the world to make this happen There is a new initiative that was born from the hand of the foundation, the idea is to continue helping the immense number of children who do not have a decent life due to lack of help from governments and who today live in extreme poverty, with this new album we want to help the populations of "La Guajira" in the same way, another of the regions forgotten by the government and, together with Choco, one of the poorest departments in Colombia. With this new album we also want to help migrant children with the objective to help intercontinental migrant children and families who undertake the dangerous journey in the community of Necoclí, department of Antioquia, Colombia, which seeks to contribute to the protection and care of people affected by trafficking.

ABOUT US

TechnoTrippin' was established in the early 2014 in Barcelona to support the small techno scene that was emerging slowly but intensely.

In 2015 "Techno in the Forest", an underground festival on the outskirts of Barcelona, was born with the idea of creating strong links between artists, collectives, labels, dancers and everyone related to the underground scene in the city.
After 4 unforgettable editions, we decided we had accomplished our objective of uniting the scene and Techno in the Forest celebrated its last memorable gathering in 2018.

Since then, we have been operating only as a non-profit underground techno platform releasing podcasts & premieres from artists and labels around the globe.

In 2024, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we launched our solidary techno label, focused on releasing music to help people who are in terryfing situations.

All the proceeds from all releases will go to different NGOs like Save The Children, UNRWA and Open Arms.*

We plan to put on another TechnoTrippin' in the Forest (V). We feel it's time again, after the pandemic, to support and unite the local techno scene by providing an unrivalled quality sound system, a place surrounded by nature, and an atmosphere that reflects the fact that we are not in it for the money. We put our heart and soul into it, simply because we can, and for us, techno is a way of life.
