West Rules is the Argentina-based imprint that has seen artists like Antonio De Angelis, Re:Axis, Casual Treatment and Arnaud Le Texier make contributions to their catalogue.

Its label head Joaquin Ruiz known for releasing on Ben Sims’ Symbolism, Alex Dolby’s Affekt and Joton’s Newrhythmic, offers the latest EP with two original tracks along with two remixes by Italy’s Matteo Cortese and Spain’s Linear System.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the title track “Breathings” with a chunky and rolling beat making up the foundations. Robotic sweeps and elastic twangs create the sci-fi influenced hook combining a raw techno sound with creative sound design.

Alexs Void már a 90-es évek elején-közepén kapcsolatba került a zenével, a helyi tini discoban áhitattal nézte mit művelnek a dj-k a lemezekkel. Eleinte jöhetett minden, ami kicsit is elektronikus volt a dancefloortól a hardcore-ig minden. 1998-ban viszont nagy változás történt, mikor elkezdte olvasni a Freee Magazint és meghallotta Kühl Tamás - Liquid c. mixalbumát. Onnantól kezdve a Progressive House lett az élete. 2001-ben kezdett el lemezeket vásárolni a Global Underground és Renaissance vonalat és ezek mellett a Techno is képbe került. 2005 után lecsengett a Progressive őrület és a zenélésben is kisebb szünet következett. 2007-2010 között megtalálta a Minimal vonalat, de ez elég hamar le is csengett. 2010-ben ismét elkezdte az akkorra már classic-ká vált progressive és techno lemezek gyűjtését,majd kisebb bulikon is zenélt, köztük 1-2 Brainstorm Classic Techno buliba is eljutott. 2013-ban a gödöllői Mozaik nevű csapatba került és Ő lett a csapat egyik classic mágusa. 2020-ban viszont eljött az ideje a váltásnak. Nem lehet folyamatosan a múltban élni így újabban a Technoban találja meg önmagát. Ezt szeretné nektek megmutatni ebben a szösszenetben és nem titkolt vágya, hogy ezt esetleg bulikon is megtegye a közeljövőben.

Hailing from the thriving Parisian techno scene, Wlderz (formally known as The Welderz) have been lightning up dancefloors since the late 90s. After many EP releases on the Skryptöm label, the duo released their first full length album entitled "Swimming in A Plastic Ocean" in 2019. Since then, the prolific producers are still releasing new EPs consistently, with their latest coming out in November 2021 entitled "Bat Sanctuary."

For the Wlderz 6AM Guest Mix, the duo take us on a deep, hypnotic techno journey. Fans of Wlderz have come to appreciate their style throughout their residency with the French collective Newtrack. Strap in for a masterclass of mixing from Wlderz.

Part two of Pfirter's IMAGERY series. Techno with harmony and drive. 

For the past fifteen years Argentinian-born, Barcelona-based producer Juan Pablo Pfirter has been pushing steely, dark and uplifting sounds. 

Musically, Pfirter has worked his magic with focus and style, gracing the likes of CLR, Figure, Mord, Stroboscopic, and Artefacts with choice singles whilst also headlining some of the most respected electronic music bastions and events such as: Berghain, Tresor, Concrete, Awakenings and Time Warp. 

In 2006, Pfirter started his own imprint, MindTrip ,which has become an evolving techno-landscape. The label serves as both a vessel for his own output and that of his close friends and collaborators, such as Jonas Kopp, Stanislav Tolkachev, Dold, Fanon Flowers, and more.

Overall, Pfirter’s productions are always filled with the depth of energy that is needed right in the middle of the dancefloor to forget everyday life.

ABOUT US

TechnoTrippin' was established in the early 2014 in Barcelona to support the small techno scene that was emerging slowly but intensely.

In 2015 "Techno in the Forest", an underground festival on the outskirts of Barcelona, was born with the idea of creating strong links between artists, collectives, labels, dancers and everyone related to the underground scene in the city.
After 4 unforgettable editions, we decided we had accomplished our objective of uniting the scene and Techno in the Forest celebrated its last memorable gathering in 2018.

Since then, we have been operating only as a non-profit underground techno platform releasing podcasts & premieres from artists and labels around the globe.

In 2024, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we launched our solidary techno label, focused on releasing music to help people who are in terryfing situations.

All the proceeds from all releases will go to different NGOs like Save The Children, UNRWA and Open Arms.*

We plan to put on another TechnoTrippin' in the Forest (V). We feel it's time again, after the pandemic, to support and unite the local techno scene by providing an unrivalled quality sound system, a place surrounded by nature, and an atmosphere that reflects the fact that we are not in it for the money. We put our heart and soul into it, simply because we can, and for us, techno is a way of life.
