For their second EP in 2023, Crescent London welcomes a familiar name in deep techno realms, Dycide. IO records co-founder brings his signature take on the beloved genre with outstanding drum programming and quirky synth lines. "Bostea" EP features four original tracks and two remixes by Concrete Gold and Deepbass. The remix by Glasgow-based Deepbass is our focus for today. Informa Records' founder turns the deep bassline with the rumbling low-end of the original into an after-hour delight with a pulsating beat that gradually builds in intensity, with hypnotic sequences of synthesizers and percussion gradually layered on top. Dreamy pads provide an ethereal backdrop to the razor-like sequences and driving beat. Combining these elements creates a unique and captivating atmosphere that is both immersive and energizing, perfect for late-night club sets or after-hours parties.
Bostea EP is coming out on February 27 via Crescent London.

ABOUT US

TechnoTrippin' was established in the early 2014 in Barcelona to support the small techno scene that was emerging slowly but intensely.

In 2015 "Techno in the Forest", an underground festival on the outskirts of Barcelona, was born with the idea of creating strong links between artists, collectives, labels, dancers and everyone related to the underground scene in the city.
After 4 unforgettable editions, we decided we had accomplished our objective of uniting the scene and Techno in the Forest celebrated its last memorable gathering in 2018.

Since then, we have been operating only as a non-profit underground techno platform releasing podcasts & premieres from artists and labels around the globe.

In 2024, celebrating our 10th Anniversary, we launched our solidary techno label, focused on releasing music to help people who are in terryfing situations.

All the proceeds from all releases will go to different NGOs like Save The Children, UNRWA and Open Arms.*

We plan to put on another TechnoTrippin' in the Forest (V). We feel it's time again, after the pandemic, to support and unite the local techno scene by providing an unrivalled quality sound system, a place surrounded by nature, and an atmosphere that reflects the fact that we are not in it for the money. We put our heart and soul into it, simply because we can, and for us, techno is a way of life.
