Un miércoles más tenemos una nueva cita con nuestra serie de mixes exclusivos. En esta ocasión nos visita Alberto Sánchez, un dj de origen salmantino pero que lleva ya unos años afincado en Sevilla. Con una trayectoria que supera ya las dos décadas detrás de los platos, Alberto se dió a conocer a nivel nacional a su alias Scan Mode con el que ha editado en sellos como Cadenza Lab, Sincopat, Theory Recordings, Cray1 LabWorks o Alma Soul Music, además de su propio sello Raw Rootz que creó hace ya unos años junto al granadino Álvaro Sánchez. En 2018 decidió estrenar un nuevo alias para dar salida a sus producciones de techno más oscuro y duro de las que publicaba como Scan Mode y no ha perdido el tiempo ya que en solo dos años y poco ha tenido la oportunidad de publicar en plataformas como Edit Select, Planet Rhythm, Children of Tomorrow, Illegal Alien o Dynamic Reflection. Como Scan Mode ya apareció hace años a través de la serie Under The Radar, hoy le recibimos disfrazado de RNGD con un mix de esos que apetecen al meterse en un club oscuro, de atmósfera densa y con luces estroboscópicas a toda máquina.

Rising through the Berlin’s underground is a new force to be reckoned with. Originally from Antwerp and since the past 6 years based in Berlin she delivers the rough sound of Germany's capital, not coming short on groovy and detroitesque tracks, STEYA packs a serious punch. Her first releases in 2021 on RAW's Third Eye compilation followed by the recent BCCO V/A set the foundation for many more productions to come in the next months and years.

Inauguriamo il nuovo anno con un set cui energia ancora serpeggia tra gli alberi del Komorebi Music Festival. Un set in grado di soggiogare i corpi al ritmo di un'oscurità densa techno e sinergie.
Fu una cavalcata indomabile quella con cui Wrong Assessment chiuse il sipario del sabato notte: bpm potenti che scalfirono la terra e travolsero la folla.

We inaugurate the new year with a set whose energy still snakes through the trees of the Komorebi Music Festival. A set capable of subjugating bodies to the rhythm of a darkness dense of strong techno and synergies.
It was an untamable ride with which Wrong Assessment closed the curtain on Saturday night: powerful bpm that scratched the earth and overwhelmed the crowd.

Wrong Assessment  |Komorebi Music Festival 2022|

Born and raised in Istanbul in 1977, Gokce Ozer aka @procombo has always been alongside music in his early childhood. However when he was 18, music became more than an interest after he bought his first set of 1210s.

Infuenced primarily by Derrick May and his Chicago/Detroit style of discoish house and techno, he played his first gigs among house parties and amateur club parties. In 1998 he was accepted to the legendary Radio 2019, to host his 2 hour show 3 times weekly in the radio's Dance Department slot.
In 2002, Gokce was selected to be the first Turkish DJ at the infamous Red Bull Music Academy. Together with 29 other djs/producers, he went to Sao Paulo, Brazil, to meet and learn from electronic music icons and play at the local clubs and events. 
He came back to Turkey with the idea of changing and slowing down his music to a deeper level. Playing a blend of music ranging from deep dubby tech house to deep techno, but mainly cruising at the progressive altitudes with a bit of breaks inbetween. The change of his music caused the change of his name and he got the "Procombo" moniker which basically derived from a Chinese food menu.
 
Currently as Procombo, Gokce hosts his bi weekly radio shows in Radio FG every Wednesday, and releases many banging records on labels as Infamous Rekids.

We are super hyped to present the 050th edition featuring a super special set by Linear System , his sound is as elusive as his persona, his skills and output have snowballed over the last couple years, elevating him to somewhere among the best producers in the genre.

Over the last two decades, Fengler developed a versatile and dynamic style of DJing that made him one of the first resident DJs of Berlin’s infamous Berghain / Panorama Bar in 2005. With his impressive intuition for the very moment, Fengler is capable of changing pace, atmosphere, and energy reacting to the mood on the dance floor: whether industrial-drenched hardness, broken beats, gloomy dubs or melodic and funky grooves – next to his inimitable instinct, Fengler draws from a varied repertoire. The approach of allowing to drift away within the momentum also applies to his first singles as a producer on such labels like Ostgut Ton and Mote Evolver. His debut album „Fokus“ (2013), in particular, was a statement of his ambitious claim, awarding his own tracks with emotional densities as well as unexpected contrasts.

Bringing together both his melodic groove and beat tracks and his straighter cuts, he founded his own imprint Marcel Fengler Index (IMF) in 2011 – a platform that not only continues evolving his timeless techno approach but represents a creative center introducing new and young talents. 

As a DJ and producer, Marcel Fengler stands for imposing surprises and the appeal of variety. For him, techno is both unconditional passion as well as an essential part of his identity. He’s not bound to a linear or one-dimensional sound, instead, he’s constantly seeking for new ways to express his emotional storytelling skills. His willingness to challenge himself and to stay curious, while establishing changes as his secret persistence, is showing his true vision of techno which makes Marcel Fengler to one of the today’s most exciting electronic artists in these days.
