A stone thrown, just to watch it fly. A projectile launched for the sole purpose of drawing a ballistic trajectory in the sky.
The Solens arc is what remains after the subtraction of the goal; a simple parabolic curve defined by gravity, impulse and starting angle. No target to hit, no catharsis to wait for, just the beauty of the flight.

The Arc as the purpose, in the form of four variations, constructed from disintegrated melodic textures and dismantled beats. Each sequences are assembled seamlessly into dense, evolving compositions, while keeping their autonomy, and their role in the global dramaturgy.

Pointillist serial loops morph into abrasive rave anthems, broken club rhythms are refitted into uneven patterns, like deconstructivist sound architectures. Industrial techno stompers dissolve into granular sound waves and filtered space pads, before being overtaken by cinematic drums and rising arpeggios.

Solens Arc is Kangding Ray’s fourth Album for raster-noton.

We're very excited to bring you The Advent's set from Meat Free, recorded at The White Hotel on the 1st April 2022. 

Cisco was originally meant to play for us in August 2021 but Covid put a stop to that; thankfully we were able to fulfil our goal of having him to play for us and it couldn't have gone any better in our honest opinion. 

Crowd noise included for extra vibes :)

Cocorico (Part 2/3)! I got such amazing memories with this awesome club in Riccione Italy. Didn’t play there for 4 years, first it had to close down and then there was this virus. So I was uber happy to be back and it was a total blast, such a good vibe right into the beautiful sunrise. Such an incredible atmosphere in this place, I would say better than ever before, if that is even possible. So great to see so many happy people dancing in this pyramid again. Thanks to everyone for bringing this energy to the night. The set was 3h 20 min in the end. So in case you listen to this on the radio/internet you might miss the last 20 min as it is always 1h pieces. This is a sample of the dj set we played in Berlin past weekend @ Sisyphos, hammahalle!

Trunkline is a duo formed by French producers Madben and Yann Lean. Both are key figures in the French techno scene and have been endorsed by giants in the industry, including Laurent Garnier, John Digweed and Dave Clarke. They bring together their shared love for Detroit techno, passion for experimenting with analog synthesizers and mastery fusing hard textures with emotional and atmospheric soundscapes, to create music that make the crowds stomp hard with an everlasting smile.

Their LP “Mercy”, released few weeks ago, encapsulates the essence of Trunkline. Freedom, spontaneity and improvisation are at the core of their productions. The LP is an experimental blend of hard drumlines and heavy distortions. Each track is a playful celebration of the rough and raw textures of techno.
