Invited by DJ Hax to mark the 50th edition of the radio podcasts on Soundtropolis Radio, I saw the perfect chance to express my love for techno music. My recorded set was a journey through hypnotic rhythms to the intense beats of hardgroove techno. This was my contribution to the celebration, a way to share what makes techno so captivating to me.

Dave Clarke - White Noise #937 (Techno) (2023.12.15)

Proudly collaborating with @jamrtbf for a monthly broadcasting of a DJ set recorded at C12, after which the recording can be found on our Soundcloud profile.

Marie-Julie is a true vinyl aficionada. She started collecting vinyls at a young age, ranging from house, electro, ambient to techno. After having spent a year in Berlin, her style got heavily inspired by regular visits to Berghain and Hardwax.  

Known for her regular sets at c12 and a busy gig schedule across Belgium, she’s also graced the decks at Amsterdam’s De School and Berlin’s Tresor, making waves internationally. 

She plays groovy and energetic techno, navigating from deep-diving techno to vibrant sounds. She uses only two vinyl decks and a mixer, blending oldskool sounds and modern grooves.  

This set was recorded live at C12 on October 21st 2023, when Marie-Julie played alongside WAV (Wata Igarashi & Voiski).
