DLV has carved out a unique niche in Europe’s techno scene with his intense yet eclectic sound. As a DJ, producer, and label owner, his passion and dedication have earned him releases on prestigious labels such as Amelie Lens’s Exhale, KlangKuenstler’s Outworld, and Voxnox. While DLV’s earlier work leaned towards hard techno, his current style is more rhythm-based, playful, and percussive, drawing influences from both old school and contemporary sounds. His background as a hip-hop DJ has contributed to his versatility, enabling him to skillfully integrate vocals and melodies while maintaining his artistic integrity. Originally from Vienna and now based in Berlin, DLV gained recognition with the underground hit “Rave Instructor” and recently launched his own record label, “Misguided.” Supported by artists like Anetha, Frazi.er, and KI/KI, Misguided showcases DLV’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of electronic music.

DLV aims to release more vinyl records, each showcasing a unique facet of Misguided’s vision. Additionally, he is preparing a defining VA compilation to further solidify the label’s distinctive identity. DLV is also focused on refining his sound and working on an album that he plans to perform live in the future. This year, he will release two more remixes: one for an upcoming artist on his label, and the other of his most played track of 2023, “No Love Only Pleasure” by Selective Response, which will be part of that label’s 5-year anniversary.

On October 19, 2025, the Los Angeles Synth Club celebrated one year of monthly group shows at the Old Towne Pub in Pasadena. We had seven members playing 30 minute sets live on hardware, as is our wont. Did I mention that I went for spooky October themes with suitable sound effects? This one was made around a bunch of bird samples that I have been adding to lots of things lately...the samples come from a BACKYARD BIRDSONG GUIDE that belonged to my Dad.
