Celebrating its third anniversary, Maison Close Records launches a new visual and musical identity with a fourth compilation. The label, driven by a constant will to put forward young artists, offers here a wide range of styles, from ghetto techno to trance and electro. This Various Artists asserts the new artistic direction recently taken by the label, introduced by the solo EPs released in 2021. In a will of coherence and synergy between the tracks, this compilation will be arranged in two volumes, the first one will be released on April 22nd and the second on April 29th.

Present on our very first vinyl VA, signed to Dusk Records since, the young producer BOTL embarks once again on our ship by delivering Encrypted, an EP as abrasive as it is innovative. Weaving between hard techno and psytrance, the three tracks that make up the collection fit together harmoniously and end with a remix of Chalky by the Brazilian SZG, bringing melodious trancy touches.

Immersed in the dystopian world of Twegen, where society is divided into two distinct layers, Sünne and Mōna, we find Unfair, a faction of fighters determined to fight against the inequality imposed by the Altum, an organization government that abandoned the inhabitants of Mōna.

BOTL's EP "Encrypted" reflects this invisible war where information, secrets and clandestine operations are essential. It symbolizes Altum's tactics to maintain control and UNFAIR's resistance to revealing the truth. The encryption serves as a metaphor for the dual nature of the story and the hidden aspect of the conflict. The title underlines the suspense and enigma, inviting the public to discover the secrets of the world of Twegen which will be developed as the label projects.
